Added a quick summary of the Scorpion/Hybrid background for those (seems like everyone) who don't read the links. If you have further comments or possible plot flaws to point out, read through ALL the links first as they will most likely be addressed.
Keep in mind the ship would NOT have nomad guns but the normal tech |RR ships are allowed. It would be just like any other medium GB in terms of people concerned about "fairness." It will merely represent the hard work and story writing that has taking place, on the forums, in-game.

No, regretably the faction was created to cover the play time criteria. Even though lately the group is behaving more like one, they are still two different Rheinland unlawful groups, workers and farmers.
I find it also very sad that three of four vanilla rheinland unlawful factions are dying out and a new pirate group comes around and does their jobs.
I dont know why you dont get the point that NO HUMAN will ever manage to control the scorpion. It does not make any sense regardeless how much you write about it. The whole request is out of roleplay and a great nonsense.
I will not wish you any luck with the faction as I had only bad experience with you in game and outside it. So God have mercy with Rheinland if you will get everything what you are asking for...

I am not sure that is quiet true. I am going to have to ask Mjolner to be for sure, but I think it would probably be quite overpowered without a nerf.

A Scorpion without Nomad turrets is just like any other gunboat, if not worse.
Still, I also dont see how exactly humans would control a nomad drone. It doesnt make sense, even though you wrote about it heavily. Its just a bit oorp, but hey, why should that stop anyone from requesting it and seeing how it goes?

Give them the Scorpion as a faction ship, let them even mount nomad weapons on it, but make it "May only engage in self defense" to underline that this ship is a roleplay ship.
The cruisers are another story. There has not been any rp about about them yet. They just got added "just in case we get approval, to have access to some nice toys". Remove them please.
Apart from the SRP stuff I support the creation of factions that base on indie ids to gain their own diplomacy and tech nerfs.:yes:
