RE: Civilian Explorer - Echo 7-7 - 11-17-2013

The ship as-is couldn't be accepted into the Mod as a Gunboat. In order for it to be a Gunboat, it would need to be scaled down significantly. However, it could alternatively be used a small transport ship.

With 11 turrets, either the ship's agility would suffer greatly, or the arcs on the turrets would be fairly restricted (more likely). The final call is made by balancers, though - not the ship modeller. We don't do custom ship classes any more.

RE: Civilian Explorer - Trogdor - 11-17-2013

Put it in the same class as the Raba/JSF?

I like it.

I like the model, however it is quite square. By the way, I recognize that system, is that the one with the monkeys in it? I remember 4.84 having monkey people in that system. And nomads.

RE: Civilian Explorer - Pancakes - 01-22-2014

The system is Omicron Kappa Scythe.

Anyway, I just don't see how the model is in a better quality than the current civilian explorer - Ahoudori.
Reminds quite a bit the old lunchbox, or at least that the first thing that pops to my mind when I see this ship.

Looks like the lunchbox

RE: Civilian Explorer - Nerva - 02-02-2014

I like the idea and the look of this ship a lot. Would make great convoy escort especially with an added docking module (which it seems to be capable of).
Don't know why it's getting compared with the old Lunchbox, though.
