Biography: I was born and raised on Planet Curacao within the Cortez system with my parents. Was put through school and college there and when I turned 16 my father brought me my very first ship. It was freighter sized vessel, he caught me how to fly such thing and he would always fly with me. From there when I got older he would show me how to fly a smaller and more agile, deadlier vessel, such as a Heavy Fighter. My Father used to fly for Orbital Spa and Cruise, that is how comes we could afford to live on Planet Curacao.
When I turned 18 my parents gave me enough credits to have any Heavy Fighter of my choice and gave me enough money to move away any where I wanted. So then I decided to join the IMG up in Tau-23 and was flying the Heavy Fighter Raven Talon at the time.
That was when I spotted my first Colonial Remnant pilot many years ago. Always flew around with both IMG and Colonial Remnant pilots, offering escorts and protection services for a small fee sometimes. Had to make a living.
Soon after the Gallian's forced there way into the Tau's I returned home back on Planet Curacao and found out both my parents died out in the Sigma's fighting along side the Gas Miner Guild against the Outcasts.
That is when I was lost and had no clue what to do anymore, that is why I have came here to join the Colonial Republic. To become someone and make a living for myself.

Heard from the Council what it was like on Marne before and after the war, guess you were caught right in the middle of it. Surprised you didn't hop on their side, but I guess we're all on the same side anyway.
Our ships aren't as dance-y as the ones you probably trained in, but I'm sure you'll pick it up well enough after you're accepted into the Military.

Biography: Born to a family of miners, Peter lived a tough life growing up in the Tau systems. When Peter was 10, his father was killed during an attack near Holman by a Rheinland battle-group. By the time he was 14 he had started working on the IMG convoys to help take care of his family. When he turned 18 he started flying escort for convoys out to Java Base. The recent fighting in the Taus made escort missions much more difficult, and after a ship in a convoy he was escorting was destroyed by a wing of Gallic Navy fighters, Peter was fired. Having grown up with the IMG, Peter was aware of the Colonial Republic and their stance against both the Outcasts, who Peter had disliked since his early childhood, and the Kingdom of Gallia, who he feared would eventuallly take over all of Tau space, decided that it looked like they could use some more pilots to help them fight the Gauls and Outcasts.
Relevant Experience: Peter flew escort for convoys for several years, downing several Outcast pilots in that time.
Your reasons for applying to the Military: Peter feels that both the Outcasts and the Gauls need to be stopped. Knowing that the BAF had plenty of pilots, he felt his best course of action was to join with the Colonials.

1. I first started with Disco back when 4.84 was out, but took an extended break for the entire time 4.85 was out. I've only recently come back to Disco, I'd say some time in early June.
2. I have a couple of trading vessels, and I fly for both the [LN] and the [UC]. Currently I have about 13 or 14 ships.
3. I'm usually online for four or five hours a day, if someone sends me a message on Skype asking me to get on I usually do that too.

A young man aproaches the recruitment desk, handing the officer a filled application with a smile on his face. While the officer reads through the paper, the young man turns his head around and waves at an older man wearing a IMG Captain uniform.
The officer leans to a side a bit, gives the old man a look and then asks the new recruit: "Hey, Stark, that´s your dad over there?"
"Yes sir, it is retired Captain Peter Stark. I am here to carry on the family tradition of militarist family. For those we left behind!" The young man answers with a pride in his voice.
The recruiting officer gazes at him for a while, with eyebrow risen, and then puts the application on top of a pile of others. "Good. That is all for now, kid. We will review your app and contact you when the decision is made. NEEEEXT!"

Name: Michal Tiberius Stark

Birthplace: Planet Altair, Crayter Sector
Biography: Mike is one of the last Colonials born in Crayter. He came to world about 8 years before The Exodus, on an industrial planet Altair, and because of his father being a medium-ranked military officer with good ties in high places, he and his parents were able to get onboard the Sleeper ship Gemini when the apocalypse came. Sadly, the rest of their family was not allowed to board.
After the arrival to Sirius, the Stark family remained with the majority of Colonials and settled on New London. Mike´s father joined the Planetform Security Forces, while his mother worked as a nanny for a local rich family.
Then the anti-Colonial uprising began. During the riots, while returning home from work, Mike´s mom got murdered by local hooligans. This stroke deep into Stark hearts, leaving a scar of hatred towards Bretonians behind.
Mike and his father left with the rest of Colonials to the Taus. Father got a job as a scout party leader, exploring the surrounding systems. In exchange, he negotiated a school membership for his son.
Being amazed by the Universe and having the space travelling in his blood, Mike later studied the space communication and charting at IMG Space University, achieving slight-over-average results.
Today, Michal T. Stark is applying for a Colonial fleet, hoping to make it onboard of one of the exploration vessels to travel to where no man has placed a foot before. And possibly, to explore new worlds that would serve as a home to the newly formed Colonial Republic. Hoping for the civilisation the Colonials once were to be rebuilt.

I´ve been playing here for periods of about 2-4 months, with a few months break between (due to school). For a total of about 11 months.
2) What characters and ships have you had thus far?
I used to play Order GB Hathor in Order Scientific Division about three years back, now sticking mainly to my Resheph cruiser Order|CV-Dawnbreaker. I also fly Order fighter and bomber from time to time, as well as (\^/)Phoenix Zoner whale (\^/)Echelon for trading and Zoner cruiser (\^/)Tesaira for some RP fun.
3) How often do you normally play/come online for?
Being in GMT+1 zone (CET), I usually play from 3pm to 10pm, but that of course may vary due to IRL.

I am 23yo student from Czech Republic, enjoying Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Crimi genres, wide variety of music genres (from Trance, through DnB and Jazz to Melodic Death Metal).
I study journalism school, along with management, financial sector and commodities trading in my free time. Also, I enjoy burying myself into books and practice of meditation, positivism, minimalism and self-development. As for sport, I am an addict to running and climbing (after the first lesson, I realised that I had had a fobia of heights for the past 22 years for no reason, hehe).

Biography & reasons for applying to the Military:: Born on Leeds to a pair of Freelance freight pilots for the BMM, he learned how to fly flying escort to their Shire class transport. After their deaths to the hands of the Gallic Royal Navy whilst flying silver to tau-31 he began blaming himself since he was flying escort, and was barely able to limp his Templar away to planet Harris. After these events he continued his families trade route, hauling silver with his younger brother between DSE's mining operations in Omega-7, to Tau-31. This seemed, until recently, how he would continue on until retirement, but then, once again conflicts became high in Tau-31, and other border systems between Bretonia and Gallia. Sky's younger brother went missing during this time, last seen flying a Firefly in Leeds heading for Harris in Tau-31. This was the final determining event in me deciding to apply to join your Military. To kill as many Gallic Sons of scum as I can, while searching for my brother.

usually at least a few hours 3-4 days a week, sometimes less, sometimes more, but not by much.

I use Steam integration for Voice, personal msging, and friends list. Since it has the nifty ingame integration that lets me do all this without alt+tabbing the game, and it has an ingame web browser I can browse the forum and wiki also without alt+tabbing. I guess though if needed I can use Skype, though it isn't a preference.
