SF Message Dump - Ant - 07-14-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse Repulse was called in by SFB Beta3 to stop a Molly attack near Essex after SFB Beta5 was knocked out. Electrical interference had briefly grounded Beta3 when Repulse received the request of assistance. The Mollys fought well, with [Impaler]-Weston(Gunboat) and [Impaler]-Mersington(Raven's Talon) able to cause minor damage to Repulse before being knocked out. [attachmentid=2785] End transmission Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Captain Hunt, SFB Beta3 After the battle in Dublin, Beta5 and I were called back to Cambridge when a Nomad cruiser and escort fighter were detected in Omega 5. SFF Xenos was first to encounter the Nomads near Freeport 1 in Omega 3. The Nomads were attacking Xenos when we arrived on the scene. Beta squadron concentrated fire on the cruiser while Xenos engaged the escort. The bombers proved their worth in combat again, with Beta5 eventually scoring the cruiser kill. [attachmentid=2786] End transmission (Edit) Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse Two new sign-ups today. rabid_oscar(forum name) is planning to add a Liberty Battlecruiser to the defenses(I suggest changing SFFG to SFBC for new ships to reflect the changed naming conventions from Frigate to Battlecruiser). Funding operations are apparently still in progress. Kress(forum name) has requested a namechange from MUCHO to [SF]-SFBS-Nelson and is expected to join the Cambridge defense fleet(although there was some debate over this). Welcome aboard. End transmission SF Message Dump - MrSns - 07-15-2007 To: SF From: SFF Tristan Eden. Im back from my long Vacation in Eindenburg. When flying on my way back to Cambridge i spoted some one by the name of Burkor (or something along those lines). I asked him to holt for scanning numrous times, and he refused by not awancering. He flew through to omega 3 i undocked from the JH and enganged him on sight. Target was Eliminated. SF Message Dump - Firebird - 07-15-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Roger on the new recruits, welcome to the SF. If you have any questions feel free to post or PM anyone at the command level. Also if anyone sees SFF-Freedom remind him he should either PM me or post a report so that I can have his forum ID. Feel free to head on up to Cambridge Research Station for a round from Joanne. Cheers In addition with Kusari's latest raid that managed to bypass the entire Bretonian front-line, new offensive strategies are to be implemented in the war with Kusari. SF ships should now be able to avoid the Kusari front-line and engage military targets within Kusari space. OOC: The agreement for not entering Kusari space and them not entering Bretonian space has been deliberately broken. Feel free to enter Kusari space and conduct bombing runs. Primary targets are their shipyards and military vessels. End Transmission SF Message Dump - Firebird - 07-16-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird SFBS-Magnificent Encountered 2 Corsair gunboats, 2 corsair fighters, and a Junker spy in Cambridge upon undocking. Attempting to split the engaging force by separating from SFGB-Fireant but the Corsairs choose to overwhem the vessel. Both Fireant and Magnificent suffered heavy damage and are moored at Cambridge for repairs. SFF-Firebird Challenged TBH to 1-1 fight, given last incidents have all been outnumbered assaults. Castillo responded and gave a good clean fight. Not impressed with my performance but reasonable given sensor ghosts. SFGB-Relentless With assistance of Beta-3 intercepted Kishiro convoy bound from Omega-49. Originally enroute to Edinburgh, but upon sighting Relentless they diverted towards Leeds. One of the two transports in the convoy was chased and intercepted attempting to take the tradelane in Leeds. Between the firepower of Beta-3 and Relentless, the transport was successfully destroyed. The escort KNF gunboat was then engaged and focussed its attention on Beta-3. A TBH fighter, which had meandered its way from Cambridge, appeared to be assisting the KNF by focussing on Beta-3 as well. Beta-3 managed to lure the TBH fighter into a nuke mine which sent the vessel home licking its wounds. Despite a gunboat and bomber firing on the KNF gunboat, neither could effectively drop its shields and Beta-3 was forced to eject after suffering heavy damage. Upon receiving Beta-3's distress signal the Repulse entered on scene and was able to inflict more damage onto the gunboat. All ships were then forced to seek shelter due to an extremely violent ion storm (server maintenace). End Transmission SF Message Dump - Ant - 07-16-2007 (reports logged prior to those of Firebird.) Transmit to: SF Command Comm ID: Ben Dibley, SFT Ashby An exciting day in the shipping business as usual and a fascinating supply requisition list you have for me. Engine components delivered to Cambridge for shield generator repairs and ship maintenance. A reserve of H-Fuel was picked up from the GMG, in case local supplies dried up due to the war with Kusari. Ship hull panels delivered to Southampton Shipyard, since they were running low due to the amount of time Sierra and Repulse spend getting repaired there. Someone suggested ordering some mk VIII capital ship armour in the hopes of keeping them out of the shipyards. Deuterium was delivered to Cambridge. Medical research labs demand a lot of the stuff and the naturally occuring stuff is in demand for fusion power generation as well as fuel for some types of ship. Entered Cambridge on the way back from Rheinland to find a Corsair Titan causing trouble. Docked and called in support. SFB Beta3 responded. Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Captain Hunt, SFB Beta3 Engaged Corsair Titan in Cambridge, initially assisted by IND escort fighters. IND pulled out of the fight and I was having a good tussle with the Titan(although sensor ghosting made targetting difficult) until additional Corsairs showed up with at least two Gunboats. IND escorts rejoined the fight, however, outnumbered and outgunned, I docked and called in SFBS Repulse. End transmission Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse On entering Cambridge, targets were acquired and engaged. Mantis[TBH] and the other gunboat took significant damage but managed to evade destruction. When the IND escort vessels withdrew from the fight, Repulse stood no chance and was quickly disabled. [attachmentid=2792] Later transmissions intercepted in Leeds while Repulse was under repair suggest that The Brotherhood are actively assisting the Kusari. End transmission (OOC: The OOC commentary by IND was hilarious. Did someone's dictionary get busted?:D) SF Message Dump - Firebird - 07-16-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Attempting to update the member list database. The following players are being moved to the inactive list due forum inactivity. If you are on this list, report in to avoid being removed. If anyone can vouch for anyone's presence in-game feel free to speak up. Otherwise they'll be removed from the list in about a week's time. Lancer Sunergos(L) Seriphyn(L) Echo 7-7 Zed <strike>Exile</strike>(No longer active in SF) Killer_Dave <strike>Ghost Pilot</strike>(SFF-Xenos active in previous report) Squeage Spartan-248 Vanker Sabe AaronButler Sophocles Pope Trip Gareth Lawncakes Trypt Zepphos OOC: In addition, players with pilots belonging to the TBH are being transferred to Stormpike since it does the SF little good to have players defending against their own ships. Similarly, any members with ships in the KNF are transferred into the Bretonian Guard. Check the faction post for assignments. End Transmission SF Message Dump - Firebird - 07-17-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Situation Report SFBS-MAGNIFICENT With the assistance of two SSO fighters, Magnificent dispatched two [Impaler] fighters from the Cambridge area and safe guarded the departure of an outgoing freelance transport. The [Impaler] fighters were outgunned but displayed good flying skills making it difficult for weapons to track them. After returning to Cambridge to continue repairs, the Nelson was reported as being heavily damaged and forced to withdraw from combat. The TBH osiris that inflicted the damage had left the area towards Omega-5. Rescue operations were performed in the immediate area. Continuing repairs and standard patrol. SFDS-DAUGHTLESS Arrived on-scene to Cambridge upon reports of SCRA cruiser in the area. In a one-on-one showdown the loadout of the pirate cruiser showed to be superior. Daughtless is currently undergoing heavy repairs and a weapons re-evaluation. SFB-BETA1 Upon failure of the Daughtless to force the SCRA cruiser's withdrawl. Beta-1 was called in and with the assistance of an SSO fighter engaged the pirate cruiser. After an long intense battle, the cruiser suffered extreme damage and was forced to withdraw from the area. Beta-1 is now undergoing repairs to its countermeasure system which was destroyed during the battle. OOC: good action and fights today End Transmission SF Message Dump - Ghost Pilot - 07-18-2007 I am steel here Admiral! Just have some problems with connection to the forum...
