RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Zen_Mechanics - 07-09-2013 Yeah, a little update, they had SFC as well, but Ill leave it as it is. Anyways, Good feedback so far, though you guys could ease the trigger when you see zoner whales docking in penny ![]() RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Narcotic - 07-21-2013 First said, I really do enjoy Hamburg raids, or Bering fights, and even New Berlin raids with 15 capitals. And I find it great that the [LN] joins them sometimes. Kudos for that. Though, I generally dislike botfeeding amongst official player factions during uneven fights. Call it whining. Or take it as feedback. I still have the hope that we both can be a good example to our indies. Of course ganks happen in "war" and I never complained about dozens of capital ships solarising my Wraith. But with botfeeding a line is crossed in my eyes. I got told that you encourage this behaviour, but I wanted to hear it from you. Don't get me wrong. It's just some feedback for you. And I just mean it well. We've been trying to be team players with our indies a bit more lately. There is no standing [LN] policy against this, only feeding from caps. I wasn't there and don't know the situation firsthand, but it seems as if there were about 3 Navy caps and 2 navy snubs, to your 6 snubs. Kind of an unfortunate situation from either perspective and not really that fun, but I'm not sure I'd call it uneven since none of those navy caps were larger than a BC, at least from what I can see in the screenshots. I used to be in the [RM], and I'm certain they taught you how easy it is to crack a cruiser with focused snub fire. (07-21-2013, 09:21 PM)Narcotic Wrote: Call it whining. Or take it as feedback. This sounds a tiny little bit passive aggressive, or maybe just cynical. Either way I'm not here to fight with you. That's mighty interesting, who'd you hear that one from? As I stated earlier, unless the situation is truly retarded, [LN] snubs are never permitted to take bots from caps. Taking them from other snubs is fair game. RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Narcotic - 07-22-2013 Hm, I got warned to post here. However, since you were so kind to reply, I'll comment - if you don't mind. I used to be in the [RM], and I'm certain they taught you how easy it is to crack a cruiser with focused snub fire. Yes, you weren't there. We knew that there was a large cap fleet in Hamburg, and we tried to challenge their small amount of snubcraft with a few Wraiths. Though, in the end I had to dodge gunboat autoaim fire, together with at least two full solaris cruiser's autoaim fire - and I hope you can understand that it made me disappointed and a bit upset, that this [LN] - we tried to kill since the beginning of the fight (I know Bloogal is a well pilot, and that it needs at least two on him, in order to have a chance) - did botfeed, be it with another snub or not (though I haven't seen any other snubs at the end). This was somehow a funkiller for us, and made us leave the outnumbered fight in the end. Honestly said, I'd have stayed and died if there wasn't that botfeed. And you know exactly that not even 5+ VHFs can crack a single solariser cruiser. Oh and there were larger vessels but BCs. But that didn't matter for me. It was not supposed to be, aswell not to sound cynical. I was honest by saying that I don't care ganks (involving caps). The point I wanted to make was just about that botfeed, nothing more. It's just that in my opinion - the ability to trade nanobots during a heavy fight is totally ooRP, and shouldn't be seen by official factions. However, everyone on his own. Can't judge you for that actually. (07-22-2013, 02:49 AM)Durandal Wrote: That's mighty interesting, who'd you hear that one from? Sorry, seems like my source was kind of negative with you. However, in the first place I didn't wanted to discuss anything, but just leave this bit of feedback. And to be honest, my first part of saying how I enjoy you taking part in the raids again, should have had much more weight than that botfeeding-thing. RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Sarawr!? - 07-22-2013 Well Narc, we do appreciate the feedback, and I hope that the fights were at least mildly fun, even on your side. (And while the botfeeding thing is sort of a minor thing, I'm still gonna address it too.) What Durandal/Justin said is right -- we strongly discourage our snubs from taking bots from caps during fights, it's really kind of a lame tactic, and we don't like it. That being said, I'd be glad to speak with whoever it was in the [LN] who did this, get them sorted out. RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Durandal - 07-22-2013 No Narco, five VHFs certainly cannot crack a decently flown Solaris cruiser, but one VHF and a bomber and a gunboat can't really do the job against 5 VHFs either, just dodge awhile. Like I said, it was an unfortunate situation for both sides, and I don't really see how it could've ended fun for either. If you want to take some veteran advice, I'd have just played it defensive and kept my distance from the LSCs while I called an RM cruiser or two to handle it. Anyway the idea of the bot feeding making it any less enjoyable is a little confusing to me. You'd have still had to deal with everything else there, but that's a matter of perspective I guess. Also bear in mind that we don't reeeaaally have any control over indies. We can tell 'em what we'd like them to do, but at the end of the day can't exactly enforce it any more than you can with your's. RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Flashâ„¢ - 08-02-2013 Do you mind RPing before engaging? Especially in caps. Please Saying: " oh wow, a carrier " " andd look, safe haven for all " " *sigh* " " Screw it " PEW PEW PEW When did that ever become a RP engagement? In my eyes, thats a lame excuse to get a bluemsg. RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Kazinsal - 08-02-2013 Much appreciated to whoever stuck their head out to stop a couple SFC| dudes from popping one of my VR- guys before the whole treaty thing is finalized. We owe you guys one. RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Thexare - 08-02-2013 I saw an [LN]-Noob-1337 in the chat list earlier. 1. Is this one of yours? 2. If yes, why is this one of yours? RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Flashâ„¢ - 08-02-2013 mmmmmm, allying with Xenos...... Even indies don't ally with Xenos to shoot Mercs.....just wow. I don't hate any of you, but seroiusly, this is the second time I see [LN] doing something ridiculous.... First was noRP engagement. Now allying with Xenos to shoot Mercs? |
