How can i register all my ships at once in a bounty board ? - Spike Seadra - 06-09-2013

It don't happens oftenly but will happen to me.
Ok i registered my two ships in the 3 BBs.
Now i made 2 more and then 3 more and spread all over the sirus.
I keep registering each ship one by one ?
This could make the board owner annoy.
1st time registered then 2nd now 3rd then 4th and so on with different tech ships.
Isn't there a way to register all the ships at once ?
Like a group register their tag and are free to do, is there any facility for individuals ?

I am unsure what you mean by register?

Player group tags? Like [Admin] tags, et cetera?

Sounds like he's talking about the bounty boards.

And in those cases, if the ship has a different name, then you'd have to register them all individually. If it was a similar name, I'd think you'd only have to register them once.

Ex 1: Spike ; Nail ; Rivet - three different ships, three registrations
Ex 2: Spike ; Spike. ; Spike: ; - three ships, one pilot, one registration

Aye as Agmen said. But I myself would want to be very careful and want to avoid breaking any BB rules and so would for good measure make sure that all the ships are definitely registered. On the Liberty Board I posted a 2nd time to update my list of ships. In the post I said my char had already registered with such and such ships and it was fine.

Yes i am talking about BOUNTY BOARDS

Agmen,
Yes i mean't of same ships like Spike Spike. Spike: Spike' Spike" etc
So if make more new ships later then it wouldn't be a problem, right ?
Or for each new ship i make, i show my IFF and ID to the board owners ?
What if i am registered and then i make more ships with same name as mentioned above, then i gotta show my ship's proof ?

Or this depends on the each faction board's rule ? Each board have different rule then ?

If it's just small variations of a name, you won't have to register multiple times. It's the same character in roleplay, flying a ship with the same name. The "fancy symbols" tend to be treated as "not there" in roleplay.

As Agmen already mentioned, long as your ship name makes it clear that the pilot is the same one registered on the board, you're free to make as many ships as you want without having to register each and every one of them on the board. This is also a general rule, and all the boards work that way. You have to keep two things in mind though:
  • Even though you do not need to register each of your ships on the board, all of them must have the appropriate set of reputation as your character's stance, else it'd be a violation of bounty rules and would fall under PvP abuse (i.e. All your ships must be above neutral to the employer you're claiming a bounty for, and hostile to the factions you hunt on that ship).
  • You can't switch ships to "teleport" across Sirius and catch your target during a chase, as that falls under abusing game mechanisms (i.e. If you start hunting a ship in New London but he manages to get away and heads to Taus, you cant dock your ship in Leeds and log another one in Tau-23. In such cases you'll have to fly there with the same ship you've been flying when you first encountered the target.
Most hunters have multiple ships parked in different regions so they won't have to fly through Sirius when they decide to move to another region to hunt in, and long as each individual ship's reputation fits the area it's hunting in you're gonna be fine, so you won't have to fix your rep to Liberty factions - for example - on a ship you intend to keep in Omegas.

Gheese thanks for the reply, i under stood now.
But aerelm, your second part states not to log in another system if the target ran away.
Hows this against rules ?

Because they met your RP character in a system that would've been impossible for you to get to. In turn, breaking RP. I.e. you were chasing someone in Tokyo, then you saw they were heading to Alpha, so you log off the Tokyo ship and get on your Alpha one to continue the chase.
