What was your agent trying to hide?
Of course you realise that this looks very suspicious in the current climate, I would not savour asking the Ministry to launch an investigation into Tokkeitai operations and recruitment. I urge you to hand Harutsuki-chan over to my men for questioning, as long as she has nothing illegal to hide, I am sure she will be treated well.
There was some mention of concern for her age: a concern I do not share; I will take every able pilot I can get, but someone will care if the word spreads. I suggest you suppress any leaks before we draw political attention. I'm astonished as to how I failed to detect this. Apparently she is smarter than I thought. I assure you that I will take appropriate measures to prevent something like this from happening again.
As for handing her over for interrogation, I believe that there is no need for that as the tokkeitai can deal with such misbehaviour on its own.
However, if you, as certainly is your right, insist on it, I will of course comply. Nonetheless I would request to be present during this interrogation.

Arigatou for your reply operative. I will not need to have her interrogated if there is a satisfactory answer to my question. What was your agent trying to hide?
I need assurances that she was not working with rebels, I need more than a denial, I need to know what she was actually doing. Did she travel to the Tau systems? Who is this 'pastry-sama'? Perhaps a Rheinlander? I am sure they could assist our enquiries.
If there is no satisfactory answer, she will need to be questioned under the influence of drugs. Obviously the black-box data would be preferable, I do not enjoy such extreme measures concerning one of our own.Acting Bakuryō-chō taru Kaishō Nagata,

I found out that not the agent Harutsuki was responsible for tampering with the blackbox, but indeed some foreigner of yet unkown origin. Of course it was Harutsuki's fault for leaving her chimaera open for such an act, however I will deal with her error myself. In the meantime I will track down that foreigner and question her before showing her the consequences of damaging equipment of the Naval Forces. I assure you that it will be sufficient punishment.
Also, I hope that this issue has been resolved this way without needing any more of your precious time and attention.
