Dubbed tl;dr, this TS community offers channels to mostly official factions who express interest in having a channel for easing communication between players. Currently the server has a maximum slot count of 50.

What is TS?

TS is proprietary voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) software that allows computer users to speak on a chat channel with fellow computer users, much like a telephone conference call. A TS user will often wear a headset with an integrated microphone. Users use the TS client software to connect to a TS server of their choice, from there they can join chat channels and discuss things. The target audience for TS are gamers, who can use the software to communicate with other players on the same team of a multiplayer game. Communicating by voice gives a competitive advantage by allowing players to keep their hands on the controls.

How to acquire TS and install it?

Start by downloading TS, click here for the link to the download page. Choose the version that you prefer and install it.

Open up TS and click on Connections in the left upper hand corner, press on Connect and fill in: nl.clanwarz.com:1124 in the field labelled as Server Address, fill in your nickname and press Connect.

Voilà, you have just connected to the TS server and am now in the Lobby. From here you can switch channel to your factions channel, or any relevant channel. We also have a dedicated sub-section for events (not just for Discovery) and sub-sections for other games, such as Battlefield 3.

Channel/Member Administration

1. Per faction/clan one (1) Head Channel Admin is granted. Any follow up leaders/high command can be granted Channel Admin by the Head Channel Admin him/herself.
   
2. The Head & Channel Admins can assign channel group Member to faction/clan members for visual confirmation on membership.
   
3. Official factions on Discovery 24/7 RP are granted to one permanent channel at all times. Temporary channels can be created by those with Member access up to the Head Channel Admin.
   
4. Head Channel Admin & Channel Admin(s) can ban people from their channel by right-clicking that person, move down to Set Channel Group and select the Channel Banned group. After that kick them out of the channel and they will not be able to enter the channel again. This can only be overridden by one of the Server Admin(s) or Operator(s). This is particularly interesting for those who wish to stick to their old password.
   

Rules on the TS server

Indeed. These rules are the same on the Discovery community. There is a special off-topic channel, also called Flood and has slightly adjusted rules, best would to select the channel and read the description yourself. Advised age for the Flood channel would be: +18.

Head Channel Admin & Channel Admin(s) can kick or ban people from their respective channel(s).

Complaints about unwanted (and repeating) behaviour can be sent by right-clicking the person in question and press the box Make a Complaint. Fill in the reason and click OK. One of the Admin(s) or Operator(s) will review it as soon as possible and take appropriate action.

Breaching of any of the rules can result in consequences, such as muting, kicking or even result in a (temporary) ban from the server. Each complaint or breach of one of the rules is reviewed on a case-to-case basis by a Admin(s) or Operator(s).

= Super Admin (Owner(s)) - Should be self-explanatory.
= Server Admin - Not an owner of the TS, yet, TS server admin with all accompanied rights.
= Operator (Moderator) - Pretty much the same rights as admin, without server banning capabilities.
= Head Channel Admin - The faction/clan leader. Only one per channel available.
= Channel Admin - The faction/clan leader can assign Channel Admin to his/her 2IC, 3IC or anyone they see fit inside their channel.
= Member - This Channel Group can be assigned by the Head Channel Admin & Channel Admin(s) to the factions/clan member(s).
= VIP - VIP's. Very Important Person(s), people who helped by donating (the server needs $ 30,95 quarterly paid) or have contributed in another way to the server.
