Base Application Request: OPEN TO LIBERTY & BRETONIA GOVERNMENTS, cc: OS&C - Gateway Shipping Inc - 06-26-2013 Hello, respective Governments of Liberty and Bretonia! I am Bruno Gehard, CEO of Gateway Shipping Inc. We have recently expanded into many markets across Sirius and found profitable business in many houses including those of Liberty and Bretonia where we are based. With our expansion comes the need for more space as Kensington Shipping Platform is now running at full capacity it has been agreed that we need to construct a new Shipping Platform which will compliment Kensington. The base name will be Oceana Shipping Platform and will be based in orbit around Planet Curucao, Cortez System. Since the Cortez System falls under both Libertonian and Bretonian Government Jurisdictions we thus ask for permission from both houses to be allowed to construct this trade outpost. In return we will pay any fees where needed. Bruno Out.... RE: Base Application Request: Open to Liberty and Bretonia Authorities CC: OS&C - Gateway Shipping Inc - 06-26-2013 RESENDING.... I see the plans for Oceana have been altered somewhat, I assume any talks with BMM concerning the Stokes field fell through. However, this new endeavour seems more suitable, and it is good to see you've included all the relevant entities in your request.
Given the Blackpool... incident, we have recently updated our base regulations as can be found in this channel. Purely for reasons of public safety, the base should maintain a 10K distance from the lanes (which are already dangerously close to the planet), perhaps towards the sun would be most suitable. Given this is a trading centre I assume it will mostly be cargo storage modules, but if you had any others planned then do inform us. As for fees, on our end it would be the usual 150 million payment to one of the accounts listed in the given channel. Once the above has been fulfilled, our permission can be considered as given. You would still require the Republic of Liberty and Spa and Cruise's permission before construction though. I am sure you've already had a look at the Treaty of Curacao, which actually is rather lacking on new modular base technology. I'll have a word with the Guild on your behalf to make sure.
