What terms is IMG on with Liberty corporations, Navy and so on?
Can I just pass throught Liberty as a miner for IMG?

You can.
They get on fairly well, I don't think there has ever been any real rivalry between the corporations etc. Definitely nothing stopping you from flying through, as long as you aren't breaking any other laws (like flying an Uruz).

You can mine in Liberty as IMG. Just make sure you keep in mind that you do not own a base in the system (actually not one in Liberty except Magellan), so your ID does not permit any offensive steps. You might get bullied by the House miners, but you are IMG... far away from their home worlds, so that's to be expected.
Bonus-wise, T23 makes more sense for IMG to mine.
If it is about Platinum... I warn you: It is slow... S-L-O-W
