Suggestion - Bristol System - Piombo65 - 07-06-2013

This is my suggestion for Bristol system:
--- = Trade lane
--- = asteroid fileds
+ = Wrecks:
C2 = Bretonia Fighter with 2 DARK BLOSSOM.
B4 = Gallic Battleship with 2 Battleship turrets and 1 Armor VII.
F4 = Gaians Freighter with 1 DIAMONDBACK and 50 Neon.

It will be between Edimburgh, Leeds, New London and Dublin System

RE: Suggestion - Bristol System - SummerMcLovin - 07-06-2013

There are already too many systems in the mod, and some are being made into dead-ends to encourage more players into the same systems nearer the core.
As for this one specifically: interesting, but it's not really needed. Another thing to consider is why there was no mention of such a well-developed system (other than those first brought in by the mod) before now. Unfortunately not everyone is lucky enough to get their hometown included in Disco.

I just post a small addition. It will not be my hometown (and never has been!)

System submissions are closed for v4.87. System submissions are unlikely to be open in the forseeable future, due to the reasons stated above.

AH! ok!

Yeah Bristol! I go to college there!

But yeah, seems there's no room left, unfortunately.

I just pulled at random but.... yeah!

Ok. People are submitting developed, capable systems. Check, should go in.

If people pull the "arrrgh too many systems line", then why don't the admins cut the vast number of purposeless edge world and defunct guard systems and replace them with well worked out, capable locals like this one?

Look at something like Lost. Srrriously? What's the point in that? Along with some of the Gallic edge systems nobody uses. Hey, make it more drastic. Cut much of the sigmas, including Sig 17 and connect 13 directly to theta. Cut Oita. Cut all the useless Tau systems, a lot of them have had their Rp heyday but now they're just a waste of modspace. Cut Cassini, cut Yukon. Make Minor a third of the size. Make Tohoku tiny. Decrease the scale of Delta so more inRp interactions happen there. Same with Lambda, same with Iota. Make Alaska a third of the size, it's too damn big, anything of significance is in about 30% of the whole system.

It's simple, replace the useless systems with workable ones, such as the suggested Bristol system.

Lel, Sigma's and Tau's are very active - Sigma's are even getting a boost in 4.87 by OC's and Corsairs getting bases there.

I agree that systems like Yukon, Oita, Lambda and so on are completely useless; that being said we don't need any more systems (including Bristol). I'd prefer it if 25-50% of the systems were cut out of the mod.
