Getting low FPS issue - Abuzar - 08-05-2013 My Pc specs are Pantium 4 120 Gb hard 512mb RAM 96MB Builtin VGA 3d Card Total info of VGA card INTEL® EXTREME GRAPHICS 2 REPORT Report Date: 08/06/2013 Report Time[hr:mms]: 01:25:31 Driver Version: 6.14.10.4363 Operating System: Windows XP* Professional, Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600) Default Language: English DirectX* Version: 9.0 Physical Memory: 494 MB Minimum Graphics Memory: 16 MB Maximum Graphics Memory: 96 MB Graphics Memory in Use: 6 MB Processor: x86 Processor Speed: 2992 MHZ Vendor ID: 8086 Device ID: 2572 Device Revision: 02 So what Control panel of 3 D settings show are these Options Asynchronous Flip : On/off (off mine) Triple buffering : On/off (off mine) Flipping Policy : Flip/Bilt (flip mine) Depth Buffer Bit Depth: Default/16 bit depth buffer/ 24 bit depth buffer (mineDefault) Force ST3C Texture Compression : On/off (mine off) Force FXT1 Texture Compression : On/off (mine off) Drive memory foot print : Nomral/low/High (mine normal) Texture Colour Depth : Desktop Colour Depth/16 bits per Texel/32 Bits per texel (mine is Destop colour depth) Anisotropic Filtering : application control /on /off (mine is application Control) Refresh Rate 60 Hz (Monitor supports 60,75,85) FPS i am getting is 20-30 MAX Now guide me i hope here some one can help me because people cry on me that i jitters, i ain't even getting full FPS, I Never had this issue in 85, now some how its Started .Now i don't know ,was on 1 year break also no info what Mod updated RE: Getting low FPS issue - Sly - 08-05-2013 If I were you, I'd drop your 3D settings to default (given by program). One day I wanted to screw with them, but it turned out so nasty on my mid-end laptop that it was real stupid. Can't help you more than that. RE: Getting low FPS issue - monmarfori - 08-05-2013 That's an old PC. Maybe you should try getting a better graphics card or upgrade your RAM. Also, try upgrading your OS to Windows 7, it's faster. RE: Getting low FPS issue - Luke. - 08-06-2013 Upgrading OS with that little RAM etc...it would struggle. Upgrade parts (as much as I hate to say it) or turn your settings down. Not to be mean, but at this point the parts required to upgrade that computer would have a antiquity pricetag, often making them more expensive than modern parts. |
