Consequences:
As a freelancer, you cannot attack anyone unless you're hired to do so or if you're doing so in self defense. You seem to know that already, however, getting hit by a CD is not considered an attack, which means in this case you cannot act in self defense. On top of that, the ship you accused of CDing you and killed, has not used any of his CDs.

The respective ship Cded me several times, maybe he tracted the CD's left in space.
If a ship comes and doesn't let you leave an area because he wants that is ok ?
10 CD's fired in 2 minutes should be considered an attack, but fine, I request a proof, since I remember exactly the situation, and I was CD'ed
I have no other reason to randomly attack ships. Really now.

There was no loot in space. I did not tractor any CD's. Neither did I fire any. Even so - like Aerelm said, CD's are not considered as engaging (should I have done this at all)
Check your target before engaging and be careful.
I don't think anyone in the group was trying to CD you either, nor did I see any CD from my point of view ingame.

What are you saying is absurd. You cd'ed me and maybe you edited somehow the screenshot or even that order that is near you in the print screen passed you the CD's. I know the rules and ID's very very well.
I didn't attacked you just because I wanted to.
Anyway, doesn't matter now.
