We are all here somewhat as sci-fi loving geeks, me being amongst your ranks. I was anticipating this movie After Earth for quiet some time....God dang, i was in deep regret, when i saw it. Thanks to the powers, which are above, that i did not pay money to see this movie.

So, the movie starts off as Jayden, who is FAR, FAR away from his dad, facial wise and performance wise, is trying to become a Ranger, no fear sorta type. That's fine, but shiet, whats up with all the plastic decorations? Ok, so bluh, bluah, the plastic doors, plastic decor was killing me. Whe other "dudes, who played in the movie, prolly were friends with Jayden, his daddy gave them a present to make their own movie. I mean, shiet....when the ship was shaking , the whole set was like: "Hello, i was made in a garage...". Anyway, so the dude undertook the journey, criied a tad, Will showed all sexy and sharp looking, daddy has to keep the image, and then the planet...

I am sorry, the planet is forbidden to land upon...- no way.,...shiet. yesterday it was open, must be disney closed it for the tours today...and on the final note. Jayden was jumping through the Redwood Forest, which in in California, like a smoked up Tarzan.

To make this mockery short, If i were to pay a single cent to watch this crap, i would probably walk out in the middle of the 10th minute, asking for the manager of the movie theater to refund my money.

nuff said on that.

Well, thanks for the revision. What about other fresh movies out there? Which would you suggest, which you would not?
May be not space-related though.

And as a staff supervisor at a movie theater, I'd be happy to process your refund myself.

That movie was awful.

Swall, the Pacific Rim was semi good, but it was a little too childish, but on the sci-fi subject, it was ok. Other than that, I have seen a lot of movies our, I really enjoyed Мачо и Ботан. I was in tears, if you haven't seen that, plz do.

Oh, and the latest i saw, it is kind of old, but: Taiga- Kurs Vizhivaniya. It is an old russian series, but quiet interesting. If you need a link, send pm.

The whole idea of the film is decent, thats why i wanted to see it, when Will Smith said in the trailer "This is Earth", that was the wow moment. The only wow moment, it gives science a big middle finger because screw science,
and the list goes on and on and on.

Yah...that movie is like terribru.

It's certainly no I am Legend. Shy

RE: seriously, peeps.... - Swallow - 08-11-2013

I am legend is not as good as 28 days and 28 weeks later. Or Doomsday.
Also, there is a nice documental movie Earth without men, or something like that...

Also - any input on Elissium (if I wrote it right) or The chronicles of Riddic 3?
