Dungeons and Dragons - latos - 08-12-2013 Anyone partake in the DnD? Pathfinder or any of the other variants? If so then why not give us your favorite campaign in story format. from your perspective ofcourse. I'm interested to see what other people come up with to do. I'm in the middle of a campaign myself (my second one in history) and would like to know. RE: Dungeons and Dragons - sindroms - 08-12-2013 I really would like to make something like this over skype, if it was possible... RE: Dungeons and Dragons - glassofwater - 08-12-2013 Well, text based RP is entirely possible. Each person in the group would simply be patient and wait for the DM to move the turns along. I think Skype has a /dice command. Not sure. Either way, you can just roll a legit die or make a simple .bat for it. RE: Dungeons and Dragons - tothebonezone - 08-12-2013 I'm pretty sure there's a program that you can make DND-like platforms on. Don't ask me what it's called though, never looked. And I don't do DND myself, but I have a lot of friends really into it. I'm just one of those guys who like playing games with personal skill instead of RNG dice rolls. RE: Dungeons and Dragons - Cælumaresh - 08-12-2013 I play Dungeons and Dragons Neverwinter online RE: Dungeons and Dragons - Friendly-Freelancer - 08-12-2013 Someone say there willing to DM an Online DnD game? RE: Dungeons and Dragons - Trail - 08-12-2013 never done DnD before but ive always been interested in star wars d20 RE: Dungeons and Dragons - Zed26 - 08-12-2013 Roll20 is a free, browser-based platform that I've used with friends before. It just needs a bit of initial setup on the DM/GM's part. Quite a bit you can customize game-wise, in addition to built-in chat. Alternatively, if you've got a group who enjoys making long, elaborate posts (especially for games/systems that encourage stunts or other cinematic flair), a message board might be better option so everyone can take the time to read through things and respond. |
