A problem with Armor/Shield bars - olenkarhu - 08-26-2013

Hello there, It's been a long time since I played FL: Disco, so I, several days ago reinstalled it and logged in, after creating a new character.
That was when I noticed the following: 08-26-2013, 08:10 AM
As you can see, HP bars are not showing up, which makes combat really difficult. I don't know what might've caused it, it always worked fine before.
In addition, static objects like Trade Lanes, Bases (those that you gotta destroy in missions) and I suppose wrecks all have their respective (and functioning) bars: 08-26-2013, 08:12 AM
while no ships do. This applies both to player owned and NPC ships.
The order in which I installed was: Vanilla fl, then disco, then manually disco patch 6.
Any advice?
EDIT: Yes, I did use bloom mod.

Open your shortcut and add the following command line:

-dx

So it shows up like this:

"C:\Games\Discovery Freelancer 4.86.0\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -dx

Mind the space between the '' and -dx

Thanks for the quick reply, but the problem still persists. I did as told, and it seemed to change nothing.

Because despite my internet connection being more or less stable, it is very slow, so I downloaded it externally and extracted into the folder.

As for my specs, they are the following:
Pentium D 920, 2.8ghz
2gb of DDR2 RAM, some low frequency crap Tongue
Radeon HD 5670. I'd also like to mention that these were also the specs I played the game with half a year ago, when the problem did not exist. Any more tips?
