Is there any program out there that I can use to convert CMP files to any/all of the following file types?
AutoCad: DWG, DXF
3DS Max: 3DS
Digital Elevation Model: DEM, DDF

Using Milkshape 3D and the .cmp importer available at TLR you can import most FL ships, and then export it to .3ds and probably a few others on your list.

Unless someone develops a tool that can read and convert the mesh data inside of a .cmp file to something more generic, such as a .3ds file I do believe this to be the only option right now.

I found Konvertor,,,, but the apps just keep crashing when it modify CMP to DXF
