Has no engines or anything yet, was just messing around trying to remember how to use everything in 3dsm and thought the kusari design would be something challenging to model.

you do like the twin hulls, don t you? - but it looks nice indeed. ( i always liked catamarans over normal boats, too - they look sleeker )
now - as long as you don t think of them as having 2 gunboat guns and twice the turrets....:laugh:.
but they very good, an excellent basis to add some details and off you go. very kusarish...

Second generation Kusari Gunboat. It's the logical step, the old gunboat is antiquified and the new Kusari shipline is moving onto Catamarans, see the bomber for example. Reminds me of the BH GB, which is ironic. The BH have a GB that looks like it came from the House it has the poorest relationship with...
Might I suggest the engines run through each of the bodies of each side of the Catamaran and emerge just inside those fins? I don't have acess to any paint programs or anything at the moment, but I'll draw on what I mean later.

I didnt like the design it its gonna be. I think that gunboats should look more stabil. This one look more like a racer.
But thats just my opinion.
