I've read this Basic Pirating Tutorial

Can I pirating in a cap ship?. Of course RPing.

You can pirate in cap ships up to the cruzer class if I'm not mistaken, assuming your id allows you to fly that ship class.

Personally I don't pie-rat in caps, so I may be wrong.

P.S. but it is stupid and not so RP(because pirates dont have many caps to go pirate in them)

Currently you can pirate with ship of any size if your ID accept it.
Guide needs updating.

This rule, which restricting cruisers and battleships to pirate was removed. Now, you can use any ship, which your ID allowes, to pirate other players.

Rules are updated and changed
So yeah, you can now do piracy in cruisers and BS too

But piracy in BS isn't good. You can fly away with evil laugh, because BS hasn't got CD Smile
