Greetings Sirius pilots,my name is Jenson Walker,As many have seen, I'm not very known between the colonies of Sirius. My parents, as much as my whole family tree, are from liberty.
My father John Walker, a commander in the Navy, was my example to follow. Not far behind was my mother, a Lieutenant. Both of them wanted me to study to get into a career in Law in the future,t hey always said that its less dangerous and gets better pay. But my passion for flying into a Navy ship managed to win their ideas and got me into the Navy as a recruit pilot .Many things happened while recruit, memories none of us can forget. But there was something wrong, whenever i was about to shut down my Comunications System, all other pilots from my flight wing where talking about our commanders, as much as vice admiral, even of the Admiral himself. But they never wanted to tell me what had happened.
A few years ahead I got promoted to Commander, after finishing important missions for the Navy as well as obeying all orders I've had. In my new wing my father and my mother were there. Besides them we also had 3 of the old friends i had since we where all Recruits.
My recent promotion I had could permit me having a cruiser, making my parents proud of me, Nevertheless the 3 old friends weren't as happy since they hadn't managed to advance so far even though they had 1 year more than me in the Navy.
My superiors gave me a mission in Magellan system, a system that was barely explored by me, at the barrier to Bretonian Space!
While still in New York system we received a distress signal from a group of civilian and navy ships in a unknown sector till now, so we turned around and went back to help them and we found ourselves into a mine zone with a unknown jumpgate detected by long range scanners. But the signals where false and we couldn't find anyone there. The surprise was yet to come, our radars went offline for a small amount of time. When they got them back online, we were surrounded by 11 pirate ships. We could have made it! But the worst was still to come.
The pirates surrounded us but they didn't attack us, it was strange since how could they come so prepared? How come they got near a mine zone? At less than 20k from a navy base! But a few seconds passed and the 3 other pilots from our wing flew near the pirates and turned around and told us one thing: Its time for the navy to pay for the loss they caused between us. My father was the first one who’s ship got destroyed, a very heavy fighter class, but I managed to tractor hes escape pod. My mother was the second with her beautiful gunboat. A pirate had her escape pod but I managed to recover it by destroying that pirate’s ship. After fighting it was just my cruiser versus 8 pirate ships.
A few minutes of fighting, and life support was going down, that's when reinforcements came, with a liberty dreadnought, but how did they came? Since my communications system was jammed and I couldn't communicate with anyone? Thats when I saw my Wife; Samantha Walker in the reinforcement’s wing, but it was too late for the cruiser. Life support failed completely so I transported my parent’s escape pods into a camera ship that we had docked into the cruiser, and undocked from it but the explosion of the cruiser caused the Camera ship’s shield to fail. One second passed and a torpedo was heading for us but with God’s blessing, we managed to eject before the ship could blow.And the Battleship from our reinforcements tractored us in. My father and my mother where unconscious, but I was still awake.
My wife got me out of that traktored escape pod when the ship started to get shots on its hull due to shields being down, that's when I went to help the captain of that Dreadnought. When I got to the controls i was amazed ,it was beautiful.I made a plan of attack that succeeded into the fight, leaving the battleship functional. After long hours of fighting and several losses ,2 of the 3 navy renegades managed to escape but the other one wasn't as lucky ,we destroyed his ship and had his escape pod, which was helpful because he gave us all the information we needed!
1 Dreadnought, 1 Cruiser and 7 fighters has been there in that battle... Only the dreadnought came back with 31% hull integrity. Thanks to the captured navy renegade, the Navy had valuable information about the other renegades and their intentions and of course,they got stopped before their plan of bringing a entire pirate fleet into liberty getting us by surprise since they could take planetary defenses offline.
The admirals saw what happened.
Two weeks later my parents got out of Manhattan’s hospital but they retired from the navy, since they where getting too old for the adrenaline that you receive as one.
A few days later the Admiral called me and told me to meet him at Manhattan for a important mission. They had studied the plans from the renegade navy officer causing a little panic because, the plan’s attacking squad was formed with more than 90 ships, from all classes, which is a entire fleet! Even though we had to wait for the attack, because attacking them now would be a suicide mission which might not even be finished successfully so we had to soften them up a bit, but that was work for my superiors ,so I've been ordered to continue the mission in Magellan. But since the cruiser was destroyed and it couldn't be restored, I've been assigned to use a Avenger.
My wing was formed by me and five more pilots which where one rank lower than me.
We took off from Norfolk shipyard and went to California, then to Magellan. Arriving at Magellan we where all surprised, the space was full entirely with some kind of fog or so, one couldn't see in more than 2k ahead ,but that was just a small part. While using the tradelanes to a nearby Freeport, long range scanners detected more than 12 fighters near the base, IMG Ships !
Huh...first time I heard of these guys. We docked into the base as my superior told me, because I didn't even know what this mission was about and why was it so important,since my superiors haven't told me anything. Me and my pilots went to the bar and ordered some coffee while 2 LSF officers came to us telling us that the mission is a dangerous one, so of course we didn't hesitate and asked what was it about. Their answer didn't make any sense to us, it was about a few Kusari pirates, Blood Dragons, were spotted in the system, but that was impossible! They cannot enter Liberty space! Bretonia wouldn't have let them do that. But we went to patrol the system entirely and no kind of pirates where spotted. At our way back to the Freeport we noticed a few ships on long range radars, but the computer couldn't decode their ID, they were unknown ships for us and where approaching fast. When they got closer, the ship’s connection with the neural net died, and we were without radar. We finally managed to identify the ships when it was too late for one of the pilots, the 4 other ships, bombers to be exact, launched torpedoes in one of our pilots and destroyed his ship instantly! I managed to tractor his escape pod though. And we engaged the attacking pilots. While fighting we saw that one of those ships was flew by one of those renegade navy pilots!
That explains the radar jamming and also the neural net connection! After a quite long fight, and 1 of our ships down and two of theirs, the renegade pilot and his wing retreated and managed to get away in a nearby cloud. And when we managed to get our radars and connection back online, but there was only one thing, long range scanners detected like 7 capital ships : more than 2 Destroyers, 3 cruisers, 2 Gunboats and many other fighters, pirate ones!
We had no chance so we tried to run and report what we saw, but the cruise disruptors hit one of our wingmen and stopped him from cruising, even though we managed to get away, I went back to assist him, it was suicide but that didn't matter, but all I could do is tractor his escape pod because his ship got destroyed in less than 5 seconds.
I knew I was going to die but I tried to cruise and get away, but my ship computer was already telling me a incoming missile, most to be sure a cruise disruptor, I was sure that was my death but I couldn't get luckier, a nearby IMG ship launched a countermeasure dropper so the disruptor didn't hit me!
So me and the IMG managed to escape and get to the base. Of course I was thankful for the IMG pilot’s help but there was just one thing.. .How come the LSF pilots told us they saw Kusari Blood Dragons? It didn't make any sense. But we continued so we finally managed to get back to Manhattan and took our other pilot in medical, for health checking. And I went to report to my superiors, even though they saw everything as weird as I did and of course they where expecting an attack anytime so they increased drastically the navy activity in Liberty space, especially in New York, which as we thought was their primary target.
My commander told me that meanwhile I was on this mission they managed to get half of the plan of the incoming war, as they called it. But they had a few questions with no answer...what place of New York where they going to strike? And who was the leader of all this? The one who arranged the pirate attack?
Things which we wanted to discover. Meanwhile I was sent on a simple mission to escort a few transports from New york to Texas, then go to Virginia to refuel the ship and talk to one of my other superiors about a mission he wanted to give me. I went to the rendezvous point in New York, which was outside West Point, and formed with the transport...
Weird...Counterfeit Software..was this the right transport? I immediately asked my commander if it was the right one and he told me about the plan, which was to take the transport there without using of tradelanes and going near the badlands, maybe that would make them interested. The software was actually a virus created by the Navy to infect the databases of the pirate attack and receive information...
And of course that was too risky to let the transport be driven by a normal person, so they set a Robot to pilot. After flying for more than 40K, the radars couldn't get clearer than they where.
Scanners didnt detect anything but in less than a second we saw more than 4 missiles and 5 torpedoes heading towards the transport .What the? Where do they come from? Scanners aren't detecting anything! When we least expected it was a ambush, from a few bombers and few fighters. But reinforcements were already almost there there, since we expected this attack. The transport went down quite fast and they managed to take all the software but when reinforcements arrived it was clear that we where going to win so we let them retreat, which was our intention. After this we continued to Texas using tradelanes since mission was successfully finished and we jumped to Virginia from Texas and arrived at San Jacinto base. Where I was supposed to mean one of my Commander, who was actually the designer of the Virus, and it was working!
The Navy computers from Virginia kept receiving data which contained very important information .About their complete plan and their technology. That was when I asked my commander, why the the radars kept having interferences and neural net connection was so unstable. And in that instant, the virus received its last info before we had a error, seems like they discovered the virus and shut down it. Also they tried to use the virus data to attack the navy computers, but it was useless since the navy’s security computers were the best in the colonies.We checked the last data but It wasn't finished so the information wasn't complete, all we could read was:

Of course we couldn't read anything. So we made a few theories, all we could take from text was :
-Mission accomplished
-Satellite ha -> We transformed it into Satellite Hack
-Device
-Lane Hackers manage -> Lane Hackers managed.
-Aners Range error –> Scanners Range error.
-Avy -> Navy
After of few hours of transforming and giving many turns to the message we finally discovered that they had a mission where the lane hackers hacked the satellite device to produce scanners range error of all navy ships causing all devices to malfunction when code 23003 is introduced. Of course we saw that ourselves when we tested introducing that code into the Database X..
We took the location of the satellite and arranged a wing of 12 pilots to fly and investigate,and even terminate if necessary.
After leaving San Jacinto the scanners got scrambled again and we asked the general and he said he didn't see anything. After a few minutes I was ordered to go back to San Jacinto base because they had another cruiser ready for me.
While getting close to the satellite, Radars,Scanners, Neural Net was all getting more and more unstable. Until the whole ship’s computer crashed,and it didn't only happen to me, it happened to all from my wing .By mistake I hit the shield regeneration procedure, and the computers came back online for a short period. I communicated to all my wing to use shield regeneration to establish connection with navy database and send information about whats going on and to send reinforcements. After managing to send the info, our whole shield regenerations were used so we didn't have any left. A few seconds later is when computers came back online making radars and scanners working fully. But good things have their bad things as well, more than 15 pirate ships where on our scanners heading towards our location and we saw they where trying to defend the satellite at all costs, so we entered battle when the satellite weapons started attack us as well, and that was when we had a message from the Navy central that the satellite is off control,radars are all unstable and all connections are unstable to the neural nets of everyone, but the worst was there to come ,more than 100 ships broke through Manhattan’s planetary defense,and got there taking advantage of the satellite radar jamming, so the navy sent almost all the fleet to defend Manhattan, leaving us 13 without reinforcements.
After fighting for a few minutes, and a few ships that got destroyed we had our primary order which was destroying the satellite! It was interfering with all navy ship’s computers causing huge loses at Manhattan, making the battle almost impossible to win! But if we destroyed the satellite, we could break the connection to navy database and get things even worse! So that's when I ordered all my wing to cover me while I launched a small civilian starflier which I had into the cruiser and enter the satellite;s engineering center. There wasn't anyone there so I could access the computers easily.
After a few minutes of intense fighting which I was seeing and was receiving with radio, the navy was almost sure we where going to lose this one and liberty could suffer severe consequences. But one minute later after hacking the satellite I managed to eliminate the virus from the pirates making navy computers stable again but it was still too hard to win so that's when i took the CD which I wrote the pirate virus to reverse the process, causing a huge hijack between the pirate neural nets and scanners leaving their computers offline for more than a minute which could give the Navy/LSF/LPI a chance to get the war a bit on their side. But the war was still a hard task. In a bit I received a message from my wing which was fighting outside saying that they won and the pirates where retreating.
I left the satellite installation and went back to the cruiser and set course right to Manhattan to support the blockade. When me and the 4 other pilots that managed to keep their ships functional from the satellite attack, we couldn't believe what we where seeing. More than 35 battleships attacking each other as much as more than 140 other class ships. And so we we entered the battle. Many and many hours of fighting and many loses on both sides, a few escape pods even got destroyed because of the intense fighting and the war got reduced to a bit less than 30 ships fighting, 21 navy and 9 pirate ones but just as we thought we where going to win we saw a liberty dreadnought and a spyglass heading towards us. The captains of those two ships where the other 2 Navy Renegades that managed to escape from us. This was the fight, everything or nothing.
We thought we where going to die, that until we saw a liberty carrier with 2 liberty dreadnoughts heading for us, whose captains our superior commanders,and my wife Samantha, part of a crew in one of the 2 dreadnoughts. My cruiser was starting to fail and life support was almost completely destroyed so I was forced to eject, but I did it on the civilian starflier from the deck and docked on one of the dreadnoughts, where I have been given the control of the weapons of it since the one that controlled them before had heart problems and just in that moment he had a heart attack and couldn't move.
After a few hours of intense shooting, we won the battle and the two navy renegades died with their ships leaving our two dreadnoughts still functional, the dreadnought I was in was still functional, as much as the other dreadnought, but the carrier went down, and so did one of my superior commanders which we couldn't find the escape pod...
It has been a huge battle with many loses from both sides but we managed to win, and that was the most important thing.
After a few weeks, after me, Samantha and other pilots who where in that battle recovered from medical, I and my wife got called by the Admiral of the Navy Secondary Fleet Core, in a meeting at Manhattan. And we discussed about the war, which got me promoted.
He asked me and Samantha if we think we can manage with a dreadnought. because it gives a ot of responsibility, maybe more than any other ship in the colonies! Controlling it is crucial for the future of Liberty. We haven't promised we will be perfect, but we did promise we will try to get as close as possible to perfect. And that's when my Admiral gave me permission and license to use one.
So thats when the SFC|LNS-Pearl.Harbor was born ,a Liberty Dreadnought where I was the Captain.
Since that happened I dedicate myself to use the dreadnought for the best of Liberty, for the best of everyone’s protection as much as I could give, to see Liberty grow,and prosper.
