Or targeting reticules or cursors or whatever you want to call them.

I am thinking about looking around for a new one. The one I am using right now is aerelm's cursor I think... I forget though as it has been so long. It is just a dot with four little lines around it, as seen here: http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/oo351/kikatsu07/screen512_zps3816d66c.png


Now I like this one, it looks rather nice and simple, but there is a huge problem with it that seriously affects my ability to play the game.

The crosshair is impossible to see in Kusari, some nebulas, and in some of the Tau systems. The cursor is so small, thin, and blue, it seriously just vanishes into the background in most cases and my aim becomes guess work. It also becomes hard to see it in hectic battles or when it is just farther towards the edge of the screen. All of this makes fighting a lot more challenging than I would like it to be and I am hoping a different crosshair would make flying a little easier.


So I am asking you guys if you know of any nice looking crosshairs for Freelancer, preferable ones that are easy to see. I remember seeing a diamond shaped one somewhere that looked pretty nice, but I can't remember what that was from. But really, any suggestions would be cool... and even better if you have screens of what it looks like.

Long ago when I was bored I made these, you can use them if you like , they are easy to implement with UTF Editor and Photoshop.

In what format do you have to export them and how do you import them into FL?
