Notice: Some aesthetic layout changes - Error - 09-12-2013 As of 15:11 GMT 12.09.2013 I've - possibly temporarily - implemented some minor aesthetic layout changes and fixes on the Discovery Wiki for further cross-browser compatibility testing and feedback after testing it client-side for a few days. The changes can mostly be summed up as a few bug fixes, a new background, and some additional padding on the right and left sides of the page. If you've got any feedback, suggestions or issues to report regarding the layout, please post them here or on the talk page for the theme's CSS file if you're into that type of thing. PS: If you're having any issues with the "new" layout, please try pressing Ctrl + F5 and/or emptying your cache before reporting anything. They'll most likely be cache issues, seeing as the changes were implemented just a few minutes ago. RE: Notice: Some aesthetic layout changes - aakopa - 09-12-2013 I think I found bug, but I am not sure is it. User option tool bar is in strange place, its above of title of page, and I don't really like it, is there possible to move it back to old place, or make at least option for it? ![]() RE: Notice: Some aesthetic layout changes - Error - 09-12-2013 I'll look into that again, actually. It was originally made like that because I was experimenting with a fixed-width design for the layout initially, but there's no reason for keeping it like that any more. Give me a few minutes or so. EDIT: It'll take a bit longer than that to implement a CSS-only solution for it, actually, as I've done some other layout changes which prevents me from just using the old style. I'll get there eventually, though, it was just a bit less simple than I thought to implement it well. EDIT2: Done - it was luckily quite a bit simpler than I initially thought. I'm aware that the user bar text now clashes with the background image at some viewport sizes - I'll take a closer look at that later today. |
