Powerplant auto-adjust ("technerf") bugs - mjolnir - 12-31-2011

If you think the powerplant auto-adjust is wrong report it here.

- If it's a bug it will be fixed soon.
- If it's intended, then it should be discussed in Mod Balance.

Even unmounting all UC guns it still runs at 90% when we're supposed to have 100% on the Gallic Unlawful Tech Cell.

Powercore is at ~57% instead of the 75% it was previously. Goes up to 75% once I unmounted glaves. Meaning Gallic Civi is now at 75% to generic IDs instead of the previous 100% for guns and 90% for ships.

That's intentional. ~ ae

getting 10% core on all zoner caps which is an obvious wrong and really annoying.

FreelancerGa restart resulted in...

Civilian shuttle: 2x Carbines, 2x Pot-de-fer II = 75% Nerf

According to the techchart: Gallia civilian weapons should be 90% to Freelancers.

Kinda suspect this is intentional, but just to confirm:

The Bretonian Liner is apparently classed as a "large Bretonia civlian ship", despite the not-so-large cargo capacity.

Meaning 10% core on Freelancer ID.

Yes, it's intentional. Generic IDs can now use Passanger Liner (Old prison liner) and Pilgrim Liner (Old slave liner) at full core. ~ ae

ID: Freelancer.

The message of the System is: Warning, incompatible technology detected, reducing power plant 90% to compensate.


P.D.: I want to add that I had a mind earlier XB-2 Bomber "Havoc Mk II" Civilian Bomber with the same configuration (all civilian guns) and also told me it was incompatible technology and the power plant reducial me 90%

Try selling all the equipment, but the message was the same.

No solution I found him.


Echo: Working as designed. Both bombers are House Civilian ships, not generic Civilian.

Gallic junkers run on 90% on gallic lawful ships and weapons while their "collogues" breton privateers run at 100%


Echo: Bret Privateers should be at 10%... /me looks at aerelm.

@Echo, He means bret privateers runnin on 100% on BAF tech, not GRN tech.
@Govedo, GJ runnin on 90% is intentional, because first and foremost, GJ are not supposed to be a copy/paste of privateers, and on top of that, they have their own shipline.

The ship hasn't technerf, and the table says that Borderwold ships must be 90% with Junkers


Echo: Thanks for your honesty. I found a few ships that had been missed completely from the technerf settings while fixing this.
