It's entirely possible that its not. Well, it is, technically...I mean, it has the outward appearance of a flood thread & everything, but how can you be so sure it is what it appears to be?
What if this thread is something else? What the hell happens then?
Yeah, I don't know either & it's beginning to freak me out a little bit.
Ya see, it all started when I came to realize when it actually started as opposed to when it appeared to have started. By the time I understood when it actually started, the time it appeared to have started had already past and at that point, there was nothing I could do about it...The thread was a false start.
You're starting to see the problem too, huh?
If this thread was a false start, then how is it possible that we can be this far into it already?
It just doesn't make any logical sense & yet, here it is.

Yeah, but this is the part where it gets a little strange.
Ok. So. There I was, looking at this flood thread and there it was, looking back at me as if it existed outside of myself or somethin' & then I realized, "Of course it does."
But see, here's the thing: This thread didn't even exist before it started...& now it does. I'm looking straight at it. Right now...It's weird.
One day, it's going to have to come to terms with its own existence, but I don't know what to tell it. Not a single clue.
If I tell it the truth, I'm not sure what it would do.
How would you feel if you were a flood thread & was told, "I'm sorry. You were a false start."
Not very good, I'd bet.
Still, even though it never asked to be created, it's only right to be honest with it if the question ever comes up.
I'll just have to deal with it then & hope for the best.
