Greetings chaps hows it going?
First of all : I'm not sure this is the right section to post this so please excuse me if its not.
Second : I got a suggestion :
4.87 has been a interesting update for all of us with many new features. Of course bugs were expected and i believe that the rollback is a must no doubt.
But i also believe that with Update 2 the rollback should be done. Why?
1)I believe the bugs remaining are not gamebreaking in anyway
2)Online players are stopping from playing, eventhough we have the betatestcash to try stuff out...most of us who've been here for some years have already tested pretty much everything so now we just want to advance and gain stuff on our own or do some RP stuff, which at the moment we wont do because of it being useless.
And i believe im not the only one here waiting anxiously for the rollback to occur so i can sort my ships out,do some trading, do some raids,buy ships or sell others.
Also : I am NOT telling the dev's to hurry up as im a programmer myself and i know how time consuming things like this are. I'm just hinting that the rollback should occur when the next update shows up.
So what do you guys think?

I agree in the fact that Beta is making people not want to play because they wont have any progress in the game. However we should make sure that the bugs are gone. Just because if we don't then it might cause problems in the future and then people will get mad and people could leave because of the bugs that are still in game. I think its better to not rush and have it all figured out. People will come back.
Note: This should be in the disco general discussion. That's where i would place it.

True so, tho if after update 2 is released and they do the rollback and a new problematic bug which causes serious problems is discovered, they could always redo the rollback again. I agree that that might not be easy for the dev's but imho that is the best of both worlds and it will make players come back again so testing will get more rigurous.
Edit: And yeah, you're right i should've put this thread in General Discussion, my apology for that.

Stability and anti-cheat are likely the main aspects that need to be fixed before a stable beta is released and the rollback makes sense. Once that is achieved, rollback and continue with the normal madness of Disco

Without Mining bonus one of my main characters has no reason to be there... as he is no better off mining than anyone else so why would anyone hire him to fill their ship? Pointless in playing as that character. So Mining Bonus needs to be turned back on also.

Th3Nu773r, you will lose any money you earned with mining, so why even bother.
It is a pvp+rp only time.

That's exactly the thing we're doing. Update 2 (maybe 3 too) will be focused on the features, rephacks and game-breaking bugs, and just when we'll fix all the critical stuff - the rollback will happen.

I would agree here Stability and anti cheat are the primary concerns for myself as well as I'm getting a bit annoyed with getting auto-banned, I'm to the point of not using my main char's anymore due to instability and auto banning also no progress to be had with impending rollback, But however game bugs would need to be fixed before this happens as other posters have said.
I like this testing phase combined with test cash restart giving us the chance to do exactly that, So i have resolved not to use my main profile of chars until beta period and rollback are done, Have created a new profile of chars so to not have to be worried about being auto banned (delete and create new set if need be) but however there is only so much "testing" one person can do without wanting to progress there own rp or better their chars financial positions etc
Overall love the new stuff and Dev's have done great, thank you :-)

You do have a good point but however you could just create a new profile of testing chars via launchpad and just have some fun pvping or testing new ships in rp so you can get a good feel for where you wanna head after roll back :-)
