Sigma 13 - AP-Express - 07-20-2008 Hi, Im a little bit confused about ZOI rules. Before starting annoying the admins i want to ask the community. An Osiris (with Order Tag and ID) should defend Order home systems and may not hunt Bounty Hunters and Wilds in Sigma 13 and New Berlin? Rogues are Liberty pirates. Are they allowed to pirate in Sigma 13? (same for Gaians) :$ Greetings Nap Sigma 13 - Fletcher - 07-20-2008 An Osiris in Sigma 13? Wow thats new. In my Order character I've hunted Wild there, I RP'd it as 'thinning their numbers', this was when I was flying a Talon I think. Sigma 13 - Zero755 - 07-20-2008 The Order would be seriouly pushing their ZOI, unless the character name was 100101010101001 or something like that. They are Binary characters that work with the Harvestres who havw ZOI in Sigma 13. As for the LR, I dont think they should be there at all, although there may be other circumstances, IE repfixing. I would ask the character over private comms what his RP was for being a Rouge that far from Liberty Sigma 13 - Robert.Fitzgerald - 07-20-2008 Order, maybe because of the Wild. Liberty Rogue? He might be returning/going to Malta to pick up a cardamine shipment. The occasional mugging of an irresistable target might occur, but frequent pirating wouldn't. A Gaian may be going to see the Corsairs after a trip in Kusari. They are friendly with both groups, so it's plausible. Pirating, probably not. Unless they saw alien organisms/Planetform traders. Sigma 13 - Rudo - 07-20-2008 ' Wrote:Hi, Generally, the Order is confined to the Omicrons and other 'out there' parts of Edge Worlds, except when they recon Alaska and such. Why would an incredibly funded and self-sustaining elite covert force of Nomad hunters bother with the Wild harassing the GMG and Rheinland? And I think that most Order commanders would agree that the more BH there are harassing Yanagi and the Wild patrols out there, the better. Keeps them out of their hair. Rogues generally stick to Liberty and the surrounding areas. If there isn't a Rogue hidey-hole to dash to at a moment's notice, or Liberty-related interests to pillage and harass then the Rogues have no interest there. Gaians, the same thing. They're generally in Bretonia and the surrounding Taus. There isn't even a planet in Sigma-13 for them to even pretend to be protecting. Sigma 13 - AP-Express - 07-20-2008 I asked the Rogue about his business in Sigma 13. He wanted to have my money (he was pirating). Several other pirates (partly untagged only with pirate ID) where hanging around and pirating with him. After my 2nd question one player (pirate i guess) wrote "kill him" and he opened the fire. I was fleeing (hard to assume firepower with untagged/neutral pirates). Greetings Nap Sigma 13 - Reverend Del - 07-20-2008 From the LR leaders POV: Was it an LR- tagged ship because our ZOI ends at the systems bordering Liberty faster routes to alpha than going through the Sigmas, and we don't stop to pirate when we do head traveeling for kit, antagonising the local law is not an option. We want to keep the stuff we buy... Sigma 13 - Drifter84 - 07-20-2008 ' Wrote:We want to keep the stuff we buy... Huh ? Rogues pay for stuff ? *brain overheats and passes out* :P Did the Rogue have the tag or the ID ? If he had the tag , probably a remnant from his setting up ( should still get rid of it if he's not a Rogue though... ) , ID is a fish of a different colour .... he's out of his pond by a long ways . They sound like a band of generic pirates ( heh , that almost sounds like an insult ! ) , remember to concentrate primarily on the ID , rep/tag second . Sigma 13 - Tenacity - 07-20-2008 The order really have no restricted zone of influence, so long as they remain covert (i.e. they can, in-rp, travel to any system as long as they arent there to start a fight or cause an incident, they remain cloaked or away from everyone). The order are also indirect allies of the gas miner's guild, through the zoners. Perhaps the GMG was having problems with wilde attacks against them, and needed assistance - it's in the order's best interests to wipe out the wilde as well as the nomads, so they're benefitting both themselves and their allies by sending a ship out there to clean up the wilde. If the osiris was there to kill bounty hunter players though... that's OORP. The order does not initiate attacks against other 'humans', they only defend when attacked first, or when someone hostile is invading their territory (minor/100). Sigma 13 - globalplayer-svk - 07-20-2008 problem has 2 sides (as always) will bounty hunter battlecruiser hunt 1 little corsair bomber without any contract or bounty or something ? (and yes i was yesterday there 2 times to help the bomber to survive... and today i was in fight with that battlecruiser when order ship come to sigma) and tenacity, gmg have problems with corsairs in sigma, so i am sure that order will stay away from that system, because when they come to sigma, what they make? help gmg againts corsairs? or help corsairs against gmg ? |
