The Hellfire Legion is getting made into an open faction with a more limited ID from when it was a closed one. The official faction disbanded on their on will due to several reasons such as:
- Being forced to deal with a devteam and staff team that by and large did not understand, or refused to work with the Legion's lore and subsequently did things that were detrimental to the faction.
- The old leadership (Me, Ench, Denelo, Ryan) not having the time or drive to continue doing it, largely due to the aforementioned reason.
- The new leadership who we passed the faction to being largely inactive, or disappearing for various reasons.
Charos decided it would be in the faction's best interest to disband, which while at the time seemed like a good idea does not seem so great now in my opinion due to a far more accepting staff and development team, but what's done is done and I'm happy to see my baby that I spent three years on finally becoming properly integrated and accepted into the mod.
Going to thread split this since there seems to be more interest than I thought.

Many changes and still keeping that World of Warcraft'ish name, should make another LH faction myself and call it Burning Crusade :|
