Greetings.
Is there any info available on the changes regarding mining? I mean a list of new mineable commodities and who can mine them with a bonus? I know about raw hydrocarbons, but I saw a fluorine field in Companion in Poole, for example. Or the changes like IMG can not mine uncut diamonds any more, so how was the bonuses changed, and all? The changelog has nothing in detail.

The mining mod is still turned off, as far as I am informed. You cannot mine at the moment (at least not with the bonus multiplier). It's best to wait until the mining mod is back in, then check the variables for changes.

Yes, I know, but how can I check the variables? Freelancer Companion only shows client side data, which is overwritten by server side data, and obviously I cannot read those.

The prices we figured out (by having a ship with full map and the different ore types in the cargo hold) were a little too low to be the best selling prices. So I assume that it doesn't make sense to look for these numbers at the moment. I made a post about these variables... can't find it at the moment.

Figuring out the prices is the easier part, I'm more concerned about changes regarding the mining sites, the drop rates and the mining bonuses. I hope there will be a heads-up after the mining mod is turned back on.

Aye I'm a little unsure as to exactly what the changes are myself, however I believe that Ores haven't changed much from 4.86, so you can go on their current values for a rough estimate.
Don't take my word for it though, I may be wrong. Oh and if in doubt...join Platinum|, best mining faction ever!!! You'll earn all the creds you need with us/
