Ryans here, long patrol, little action today. New York was absolutely jampacked today (ooc: 40 players at one point), therefore most of my patrol was spent there. All that there is to be noted was an attempt by "Miner" to smuggle diamonds, he now has a 4 million credit fine due; and an altercation between Wellington Weapons and Black Force 1, which was resolved without any destruction of ships.
However, most interesting was a Rheinland bomber that entered Texas. By chance, I was just heading to Planet Houston to check up. I chased the man through New York, he chose to cruise behind Z21 and around Planet Pittsburgh to the Colorado gate. Finally I caught him in Colorado and after refusing to stop repeatedly he was destroyed by a Supernova round.

Hello, my name is Zane Frazier. I was born and raised on planet Manhattan, and still reside there- as of two days ago. Right now, I am living in a small hotel on New Berlin- you may be able to guess the reason soon. Ever since I was a boy I knew that I wanted to be "one of those Mercenaries" when I grew up. I wanted to be able to go "get the bad guys" (as my young self would say). Finally, when I became of age I set out to buy my own ship, and to become a mercenary.
Only recently was I made aware there was a "ban on mercenaries" in Liberty, unless they were authorized. I was quickly escorted out of Liberty and told to speak to "high command" to get Authorized. The reason - to my understanding - was to ensure no mercenary would open fire on a police vessel.
There was a reason I did not want to become police, which I will keep to myself. I do have my reasons for being a mercenary, but I can vow to you that I will never open fire on any Liberty lawful vessel. I am here to get the un-lawfuls.
Now, my apartment is gathering dust as I write this, so please, respond soon. If there is anything else I need to do to get, "Authorized" please let me know.

Patrol today encountered an Osiris, sitting above Manhattan. Firm talking was had, yet the important part to note was that a Liberty Navy Dreadnaught, the "Providence" (navy ID) claimed to be "No longer Navy" and took the side of the Order Osiris. I suggest he be shot on sight as a traitor, however High Command will obviously make a decision.
The second, and more important note: After agreeing to peaceably leave, the Osiris powered down its weapons and began movement. As two Dreadnaughts and the IMG Battlecruiser "Sky" was quite a threat, there was approximately ten Navy ships in area, LN, LPI, and LNS. Repeatedly I ordered all units to stand down, as the Osiris was leaving peaceably. However, as they left, the LNS-Rex, a cruiser, opened fire. Along with two Gunboats that I could not name, the Rex disobeyed direct orders and opened fire. Ordered to cease fire, they did not comply, and tried to enter cruise to chase the Osiris and the Providence. Therefore I ordered that all other units hit the traitors with cruise disruptors to prevent them from giving chase. A formal apology, along with a firm order to remain away from Manhattan, was given to the captain of the Order Osiris.
Awaiting orders regarding the Rex, and Providence.

Hail, pilots.
First off, we have some concerning news. It seems the recently purchased 4-11b 'Advanced Splitter' Bretonian Tachyon Cannons we bought from Bretonian Armed Forces. The guns are getting regularly damaged, and the only place we can get replacement parts from is Bretonia, unfortunately, the prices are extremely high on replacing them. We have also been conducting some tests into increasing our R8-E 'Vengeance' Laser Cannons Mk V hull breaching output, the prototypes are being tested now, expect the guns to be in mass production in a month or so. As of both of these changes, all Liberty Navy are to hand in their Splitters to the Liberty Navy armories.
On to the promotions.
Kael Tikonov, due to his outstanding performance in the field of battle, and following orders to the letter, is hereby promoted to Ensign, from Recruit.
Ethan Tamner, for sticking to his patrols, taking out any enemies who threaten Liberty, and his actions in stopping Cardamine trade coming through Liberty, is promoted to Ensign, from Recruit.
Hitomi Mahler, for outstanding courage and valor in the face of danger, is being promoted to Sub Lieutenant,f rom Recruit.
Fergus Walsh, for proving himself invaluable in the midst of battle, and for showing extreme improvements in our VHF Fighter Training Course, is being promoted to Sub Lieutenant, from Recruit.
Mathew Alexandrej, for showing excellent tactical command, co-ordinating patrol routes, and showing progress in VHF command, is being promoted from Ensign, to Lieutenant.
Zachary Ryans, for showing supreme command of a bomber, writing regular reports, and co-ordinating efforts to target key enemy targets, is being promoted from Ensign, to Lieutenant.
Alex Walker, for surviving in the face of danger, fighting against the odds, and never giving up at his tasks, is being promoted from Sub Lieutenant, to Lieutenant.
Finally.
Joe McTyre. Due to your cunning and excellence, bravery beyond what is needed, major improvements in your piloting skills, a successful outfitting of the Gettysburg, and, most of all, showing leadership skills, you are being promoted from Lieutenant, to Lieutenant Commander.
