After I finished mounting my prototype weapons to my Guardian fighter, I took off from Manhattan to find two LPI detectives in orbit. Deciding nothing was out of order, I continued my patrol. After instructing a new pilot in Sirius laws, I came across Sub-Lieutenant John Smith, who had reports of a pirate group in California. I came across Christian Deus, and began to head to California on Smith's report.


We came across an Outcast fighter carrying five pilots in his cargo hold. I rescued four of the pilots, while Deus picked up a second Bounty Hunter. These pilots were sent to Riverside. At this time, a Zoner transport was requesting escort. As there still was no confirmed location on the pirate group, myself and Deus agreed to escort this vessel to Detroit to unload its ore. The trip was uneventful, and the trader paid us a million credits each for our service.

We returned to our search for the pirates, when they appeared through the jump gate. The group turned out to be three heavy fighters and one bomber strong. We followed the group, until Smith was able to catch up and get a shot with his cruise disruptor. The ships stopped, and the group began firing. Three of the ships were swiftly and easily destroyed, with a Sabre and a Virage destroyed at almost exactly the same time. The final surviving pirate, a freelancer, at first began running but then turned torwards us. After at least ten passes, the vessel was destroyed.

Once the pirates were taken care of, Deus and myself decided to check Zone 21. This search turned out to be just in time, with an Order vessel seemingly coming from the jump gate. We gave chase, with Deus going to the Texas jump hole, while I intercepted at the gate. We chased the Order agent all the way to Cortez, where Smith was able to cruise disrupt the terrorist. After she refused to follow my orders, I engaged, doing major damage to the Nephthys fighter. The fighter escaped to the Coronado system, where we ended our chase. I then returned to Los Angeles to refuel and write this report.
