The Captain claimed that they had been offered a choice between working on Erie or someplace out in the Taus, and that they had chosen the Taus. I wasn't buying it, and called in an SFC| Gunboat and Transport to help rescue the slaves. We terminated the vessel and returned the crew and slaves to Fort Bush.

While escorting a pair of Kempeitai vessels out of Liberty who had accosted me in the Ontario system(a separate report can be filed if required), one of the vessels, the Umisachihiko bolted in the Kepler system towards the Galileo Jump Hole. Persuing the target, we both ran across an unregistered base by the name of Balaur. The Kempeitia eventually departed peacefully to Galileo while I inspected the base. I was refused docking rights, and a test with Pulse Weaponry determined the the facility does in fact have a functional shield system. No other modules were seen.

While trying to track a BDM| vessel with the LNS-Antietam, Captain Winter ran across this Pirate Transport who refused to yield the Liberty Personnel aboard. The vessel attempt to flee, but the crew of the LNF Paradise and I used our superior speed to catch up to and disrupt the Bentenmaru. Working with Captain Winters we were able to take out the vessel and rescue the hostages.

Hello.

I have just completed my first patrol under the command of Lieutenant Alan Polstari. Another recruit and I went to Richmond Training Academy and outfitted our Executioners. Afterward, we were posted at Planet Houston with orders to watch incoming traffic. Nothing of note to report there.

Under the orders of Vice Admiral Rachel Baker, we proceeded to Colorado to assist in intercepting a transport smuggling nuclear devices from Kusari. The callsign was George93. The captain admitted to moving to supply a base in Liberty, and Vice Admiral Baker ordered him to drop the cargo. He agreed, but instead of dropping it, he activated a cloaking device. We destroyed his vessel and the cargo.

Moving onward to Kepler, we took a look at the base called Balaur, which Polstari detailed in a previous report. It was shielded, but we spent some time firing on it to drain its fuel. I'm...not sure how much of an effect we honestly had on it, but, we did our best.

Under orders from Baker, we moved to Ames Research Station, where the KNF had gathered. Baker had been trying to mediate an argument, I believe, but I'm not sure of the details. Regardless, we remained there for some time before the situation was deemed cool enough for us to break off.

I intend to patrol Hudson later with another recruit, James Lambert. I'll report once that is completed.

Lieutenant Polstari, Recruit Lambert and I just performed a sweep of the Hudson system. We checked above and below the plane in all three of the asteroid fields, and a band of space going across the middle of the system, above and below the plane, confirming the presence of no unauthorized bases in any of those areas. Polstari has apparently received a tip regarding a base in the system, though, so we might want to check it more closely in other areas.

We proceeded through Texas to Pennsylvania, where, during our patrol, we came across two Liberty Rogues; one flying a pirate transport and the other escorting in a barghest. Both were destroyed (though I only got a guncam of the barghest's destruction). We proceeded to the Battleship Gettysburg after that and docked.

Today I was on routine patrol around Liberty space when I encountered =[SRF]=Ben.Cohen outside Manhattan. I'd never run into the guy before but I knew about our standing orders regarding his faction. As expected, he was flying a Gallic Lynx, and making no effort to hide it.

I ordered him to accompany me out of Liberty, and he agreed to go peacefully, but not before talking my ear off with a bunch of nonsense about Gallia and how they were going to conquer Sirius. I offered to take him to whichever border of our house he preferred, and he wanted to go to Kepler so he could continue to Kusari.

En route, he told me that Admiral Hale had personally given him permission to be in Liberty space with his Lynx, "as long as he obeyed the law". I briefly checked with the other Navy ships around, including Vice Admiral Baker, and the response was an overwhelming "No".

I escorted him to Kepler, where he idled at Ames for a while. I stayed (on our side of the line) to make sure he wasn't going to try to sneak back into Liberty. Few minutes later, [KNF]Ni.Bensuke shows up on the other side of Ames. I spoke to him briefly and informed him of why I was in Kepler and why Mr. Cohen had been expelled from Liberty space.

Roughly at the same time, both Vice Admiral Baker in the LNS Bunker Hill and a Kusari Secondary Fleet Battleship captained by Admiral Chistu Wanabe showed up. V Adm. Baker was one of several Navy ships in-system at the time, conducting an investigation of a possible illegal base. Since she was present, I'll avoid going into too much detail, but several more KNF ships arrived, including a Vice Admiral of their own, and we called in the other units in-system for backup. This was Lieutenant Polstari and the two newest recruits, Hayes and Dacino. Despite some attempts from a few irritating independents at Ames who sought to provoke a confrontation, along with Cohen spouting more of his inane drivel, I am proud to say we defused the system diplomatically and maintained our good relations with the Kusari Naval Forces.

Later on, I conducted a sweep of the Hudson system with Lieutenant Polstari and Recruit Hayes. The Lieutenant had some intel that suggested an independent might be attempting to build a base in the system. We conducted a very thorough scan of the entire system, but unfortunately failed to find anything.

However, the patrol was not entirely fruitless, as on our way back we encountered two independents in Pennsylvania, near Allentown Base. They were both sporting pirate vessels and IDs, one in a Barghest and the other in a Pirate transport. Names were Lawges and Facon_2, respectively. The transport, carrying contraband, fled to the base, but the fighter stopped. We offered him the chance to go to jail but he engaged the three of us instead. We destroyed him near the base and then caught and killed the transport as well after it opened up on us.

Reporting in.

I went on a short solo patrol before a USI transport gave me a tip that there were pirate gunboats in the area. Being completely outmatched, I sent out a call for help over the emergency channel, and Vice Admiral Baker joined me immediately. A mercenary gunboat, Lieutenant Polstari, Captain Sanders and Recruit Lambert all came in after a short time as well, and we went on the hunt to intercept a Hacker Scylla, a Hacker gunboat, and an Outcast gunboat. The destroyer was dispatched in short order, after the timely arrival of the LNS Marathon, and later we managed to intercept and destroy the gunboats. The Bunker Hill and the mercenary gunboat took care of the Hacker, and Sanders, Polstari and myself took on the Outcast. Overall, there were no casualties on our side whatsoever.

I'd like to note that as of the time I send this message, I have fulfilled the eight hour requirement in the cockpit. Evidence attached.
