at 1610 hours our sensors lost contact with the Battleship Pacifica in the California system according to their last Transmission send out the Pacifica went to check out some kind of large combustion emission located around asteroid and Ice filed's around the system. According to their fighter squadrons the entire bulk of it they were send to check out those fields and the Pacifica had to remain with minimal fighter cover. The last transmission that came out from the Pacifica to their fighters was a general call back, when the fighters got to the designated way point the Pacifica was not there and there were small amounts of debris and Antimatter from Mortar fire.

I fear the worst but nothing is certen search and rescue operations are going to begin at 2000 hours.

*Clark appears on screen with a laser burn across his forehead.*

I really don't know where to begin this. *clears his throat* Myself and the marines aboard the [LN]-LLS-Arleigh Burke got sent into a lost naval Dreadnaught. The Colossus. We had very little intel going in. Myself and the first insertion platoon inserted into the Dreadnaught via a cargo airlock amidships while the second insertion platoon inserted via EVA onto one of the top decks.

When we went in we found the Dreadnaught had no lights running and the interior corridors showed signs of some serious fighting. The only thing that moved where the Maint-Bots which are run on a secondary computer system and require little power. The Colossus by all accounts appeared to be a ghost ship. It was last seen three weeks ago via a long range scan. Now inside the ship there was fallen bulkhead scattered over the place, the gravity systems where only running at 32% of their standard operating levels.

To cover more ground i ordered in another two platoons to help secure the dreadnaught. I split up half of the first platoon into two teams to secure both the Computer Core and the Power Core rooms. Ohms who was the lead technical expert on the team that secured the power-core room reported that the Primary and Secondary reactors where non-operational and there was only emergency power. The Computer Core however was similar but different. looks like someone took a 2 kilogram stick of C-112 plastic explosive and killed the computer core in a big way. The second platoon at this point had not breached the Bridge.

They reported that there was some kind of energy signatures on the bridge, but it wasn't anything known to us. To me it sounded a lot like an incident with another ghost ship a while back. On that ghost ship we found those power sources to be Nomad tech. Myself and a 3 man team from the first linked up with the second platoon outside the Command Center and breached the room with cutting explosives. It was as i thought. Nomad Tech. There was Nomad tech attached to systems on the bridge. It looked like it was powering it.

I ordered my men back to the [LN]-LLS-Arleigh.Burke. We evac'd from the bridge via breaching through the windows and going EVA back to the Burke. by the time i got on board the First insertion platoon had made it back. Then the third and forth insertion platoons came under fire. Don't know where. I didn't see any bodies beforehand until i linked up with them to help them with their withdrawal. At that point we had two marine K.I.As as well as 7 wounded. The attackers looked like some of the crew of the ship but I'm guessing they where infected given they had the weird glow, at least according to the old dossier released from the LSF ages ago on "How to identify a Nomad infected persons" We pulled all our teams back and pulled the Arleigh Burke away from The Colossus.

That's when the real blood bath really began. By the looks of things the entirety of the Forth Insertion Platoon had been infected while searching the ship. I don't know how and where they got infected their recorders are all fried, data no recoverable. They started shooting in the second cargo pod of the Burke. We had a battalion of marines in those cargo pods. It quickly turned into a massacre. There was shooting up and down the cargo hold, mass confusion. We pulled it together and eliminated our former friends and marine who had now been turned. In all we had 182 dead, 77 wounded. We had to enact the Jacobi Protocol. It states that:

Quote:"Any wounded or dead persons as a result of engagement with the species known as nomads are to be eliminated and the bodies incinerated, then undergo full ship wide decontamination at the nearest secure, allied port."

We pulled the bodies of the dead and brought in all the wounded into the Second Cargo pod. Then i sealed it up and vented the pod, spaced every single last one of them. Two-Hundred and Forty-Nine dead marines. Its on my conscience and I'm going to have to live with it. In all my time here in the Navy, I mean Ive lost men in battle before, but never this many. Never had to space a man either let alone my own people under my command. Pushing the button spacing them then ordering the Burke's guns be turned on them to saturate the area with laser fire.

Admiral Baker, at some point I'm going to have to have a off-the-record talk with you about why sending people in blind is a bad idea. Now if you will excuse me i still have another 128 letters to write to the families of the men lost today.

Clark Out.

Greetings Command, I've got some interesting news to report, uh.. It appears we may have made some new enemys among a specific branch of Zoners known as the Enclave. Uh.. We have fought them before in the past, due to their inability to follow Liberty Anti-Warship laws, they continue to bring Warship Capitals into Liberty without warning. They have refused to leave Liberty Space, and literally strike at us. I've never seen Zoners so hostile before in my life! But with regret I must say that the the LNS-Mount.McKinley was destroyed today and her crew loses are still unknown at this time. The Enclave is responsible for this disaster. The rest of their forces was either killed in Texas or ratted out into Bering system. They lost 1 Gunboat and 1 Capital Vessel.

Teerin reporting.

Battle near Norfolk and Z21
While the neural nets were down, there was a battle with some Outcasts, an Oracle, and a freelancer. It took a while to get reinforcements, but once they arrived, we made short work of the hostiles. The freelancer that engaged us went by the name of "Aivory". This vessel should be added to the Liberty Criminal Database.

[Enclave]
This group of Zoner capital vessels has been repeatedly caught within Liberty Space and told to leave. We have had to destroy their vessels multiple times, as shown here, where we downed "[Enclave]Vanguard" and "[Enclave]Fleet_command". There has been talk of shoot-on-sight orders, is this confirmed?

Admirals,

This is a slightly belated report on an operation I led a few days ago.

Background:

Some may not be aware of what's happened, so I'll sum it up briefly. During my captivity by the Rogues, I was, for a time, under the auspices of a girl named "Pita". She's twelve years old. She forced me to spend time with her, attending "tea parties" and wearing a dress. At the time I considered it a form of psychological torture, but now I have come to realize what it truly was: an abused and neglected girl's plea for attention.

I escaped Rogue custody on my own, without help. However, Pita managed to reclaim me just before I was able to leave their base. However, instead of turning me in to the other Rogues, who would have likely killed me, she instead took me off the base. I'm not sure what her intent was, but the result was my rescue. After I returned to duty, I encountered her a few more times, and we actually reconciled many of our differences. She told me some of the things the Rogues had done to her, and I wanted to help her.

It took time, but eventually I convinced her that she should abandon the Rogues and do something else. Start a new life. But then, some of the Rogues led by one named "Buster" came and took her back. He wired up the girl's ship to remote control, making it so I couldn't stop her without risk of hurting or killing her. I vowed to stop at nothing to save her.

Units Present:

Friendlies:
  • [LN]-James.Lambert [VHF]
  • [LN]-LNS-Lake.Shasta [LSC] (Capt. Polstari commanding)
  • [LN]-LNS-Bunker.Hill [LGB] (VAdm. Baker commanding)
  • [LN]-LNF-Fun.Fields [Grizzly] (Cmdr. Clark commanding)
  • DSE)Catelyn.Smith [Camara]
  • [LN]-Reginald.Lewis [VHF]

Neutrals:
  • [TAZ]The.Maverick.IV [Zoner Transport]
  • Stewie.Griffin [Freelancer VHF]

Hostiles:
  • S.O.S [Rhino] (Ruby/Pita)
  • LR-Mad.Architect [Pilgrim Liner] (Buster's ship)
  • LR-Crossbred.Mongrel-B [VHF] (Unknown Rogue)
  • [HF]-HFB-Manticore [HF BB]
  • [HF]-HFD-Iblis [HF Scylla]

Action Summary:

I used the help of Catelyn Smith, a DSE employee who knew Pita, to track her lost ship. We traced it to Puerto Rico, and then were able to determine that she was moved to a Rhino that headed into Humboldt. We hurried there, and I finally found the ship. However, Buster was already there, and Ruby was aboard the freighter. After some talking, I discovered that Buster had lost the girl himself to Ruby, and was under orders from Moka to get her back.

A Hellfire capital ship turned up, but the presence of our own capital ships kept it from causing trouble. Ruby wasn't going to back down, insisting we leave her with the girl or she'd kill Pita. It was a classic hostage situation.

I came up with a plan. We'd fake an issue back in New York that would call the Lake Shasta back, and then move it out of sensor range, then it would move in under cloak and decloak and launch marines from close range. We'd offload the marines from the Bunker Hill, as well as myself, to accompany them. The plan succeeded, getting myself and several fireteams of Marines aboard before Ruby could react.

I searched several areas before the girl was found. Ruby had a gun to her head. I managed to slip around to get behind her, familiar with the layout of a Rhino-class vessel. Ruby saw me too late, and I dropped her with a three round burst to the head. Captain Polstari reported another Hellfire capital ship inbound, so we quickly departed the ship with Pita. Buster had been aboard as well, but left once he realized his cause was a lost one. The Captain blasted an unknown Rogue that tried to interfere, and damaged Buster's vessel.

We were extracted, and the task group returned to Liberty without further incident. We lost a pair of marines - it was reported that Buster had killed them - but other than that there were no casualties. A full communications log of the operation is attached below.

Aftermath:

The girl was returned to the fleet hospital aboard the Missouri, and recovered well from her physical trauma. She has been in my custody since she was released, and I intend for it to remain that way. Taking care of a child while also maintaining active duty Naval service will be difficult, but I believe I can manage it. I bought the girl a ship, so perhaps she'll be seen in space with me on occasion.

I am glad to have gotten her back, and hope she will adjust to her new life. Her treatment under the Rogues was inhumane, and I will try and help her move forward from it. I also wish to apologize for my singleminded focus on finding her over the last week or so. I've let my attention to duty slip, and I will try to rectify that immediately.

Lambert out.

Been a while since I used this channel for the last time, I already miss the time in which I didn't have to deal with paperwork. Oh well...

Simple stuff, Wilcott and Polstari having issues to deal with some Xenos, so it was my glorious task to help them out. But hey, I have no issue with that, it's my job anyway. Besides, Xenos just can't fly their ships.

One
Two

Too bad the Hellfire moron ran away before I could destroy his ship, that really made me sad. But on the other hand, both Wilcott and Polstari didn't blow up this time, I call that a success!

That's all.

Ladies and Gentlemen, It has come to my attention that action must be taken on the Bretonian Frontlines, they need our help. I'm sure that some of you may have encountered Gallic Naval ships within the Magellan system, even now, while the Leeds Defense Fleet still stands. If we do not help our Bretonian allies now, I fear the worst.

If Bretonia were to fall now, and come under the thumb of a Gallic occupation force, it would simply be catastrophic, for the Bretonian people, and inevitably our own.

It is with this in mind, that I am using what authority I've been granted, to order the mobilization of a composite battlegroup, with the intention of deploying to Bretonian space as a standing force to assist in the defense of Leeds.

I am seeking volunteers for this mission, as the fighting there will likely be much more intense than what we've faced during the Rheinland conflict.

I do not take this decision lightly, I would not ask that you who volunteer walk into this alone, as such, I will be deploying with you, aboard the Bunker Hill.

Now...this battlegroup will require the following:

3x Gunboat class ships, Counting the Bunker Hill.
3x Upholder class bombers.
2x Guardian/Avenger fighters.
1x Bison Heavy Transport/Supply ship.

Our mission in Bretonia will consist primarily of aiding or augmenting the Leeds Defense Fleet, protecting the Bretonian people and pushing back Gallic incursion groups.

I await a response, and I know that there are those among you who are both brave and dedicated enough to volunteer for this mission, and ensure it's success.

VAdm. Rachel A. Baker, Out.

Good day Ma'm,

I have heard the call and, well...
*he pauses for awhile*

There have been issues in the past about AI-controlled ships but I am requesting that you give this one a chance. TIM has seen enough combat experience to achieve self-sufficiency. And...

*he pauses still*

What I am asking is that the MacArthur, piloted by my AI, be deployed with the battlegroup. I am confident about the reliability and military competence of the AI. You may wonder why I don't commandeer the gunship myself...

*he pauses again*

My Havoc has been collecting dust this past few weeks and I have been waiting for the chance to take some torps up on the ***** of those so-called Valors.

Please consider my request.... Ma'm.

Ma'am You have yourself a Bison. The Blue Ridge is down with Engine repairs after an incident with some shoddy installing of a fuel line. But you have a transport and i know about 4 battalions ready to go on your order ma'am. Ill also load up my Upholder into the hold as well as replacement parts and munitions for all ships. We have already loaded some ANC-2 Nova torpedoes or as i call them, "Bunker Busters" on board.
In the mean time i have a ship to run and some logistics to organize for this little posse you want.
