My day has been very long. It began with an attack from Rheinland warships in Texas. They arrived in force and at first massed neat the New York jumpgate but as the fleet arrived they were defeated and fought back.

Later I met LPI officers on patrol and joined them to assist them with heavy fire power should it be needed.During our patrol we happened across several hostile craft which we tried to pursue but I have to be honest much of this has eluded my memory. Most of which I remember...

... was the base siege that followed. There is an unlawful base located in the debrisfield near the lane from planet Manhatten to detroit amunitions. Its location is Sector C4 at the lower left end of the grid.

The LPI officers (Buck Frost and Doug Reynolds) and myself remain on duty the entire time and we tried to damage the base while various other craft joined. Notable was a bounty hunter who seems to have a long-term (2-year) working record with the Navy by the name of Kai.Dressel. He was of great help.

Of course the other Navy and police craft and even a freelancer or two were helpful as well. Unfortunately we were not able to cause any significant damage to the base due to its shielding running continuously.

At the end of the day, few of us were left and a number of hostile Liberty Rogue craft massed and fought back our attacks - we flew to Manhatten and I landed.

My flight recorder has recorded four confirmed victories.

I write this message as a report on today's events.

After launching from Manhatten where I have been staying to respond more quickly to situations near the base that was besieged, I flew directly to the scene. All seemed quiet and the siege was well under way.

As I approached I heard over comm that the base was loosing hull integrity. A few lone Liberty Rogue craft tried to defend it in what seemed a desperate attempt but the craft did not last long between the firepower present. I have to say attacking a fleet of that size with one or two craft is either very gutsy or very desperate. Or maybe both.

At any case, the base soon was destroyed. Here is what guncam images I could collect.

Once we were done clearing the debris field I was asked to switch to the recruit heavy fighter I was atsked to set up and assigned to patrol with a more experienced officer by the name of Tiffany Markley.

I have come to know her as a reliable fighterpilot and excellent wingman so I was glad to be assigned to her patrol, especially after the many warnings I have received about this heavy fighter I am tasked to fly...

We soon happened upon what seemed to a small time criminal.

When stopped he .. actually surrendered and what was more strange he also jettisoned his cargo which was a unit of cardamine. As if that was not strange enough the pilot's ship (a Sabre) was not fully armed and equipped.

The pilot claimed that he was not here by his own desires but Ms Markley and myself found him hard to believe. We felt that he was not being entirely honest with us.

However as he had complied, cooperated and surrendered contraband and did not start hostile actions against us, we decided to grant him his leave that he urgetly asked for.

I met the same pilot again later near the sun of New York system. It seems that a Bounty Hunter had found him. Since he was engaged in combat and soon surrendered again, this time to the Bounty Hunter, I continued on my way to the texas system where I picked up a peculiar message.

And this concludes my report.

I write this message as requested, about the eight hour flight time in the recruit heavy fighter. Today I have completed the last bit of the time and am uploading the data from the flight recorder.

Flight Recorder Data

I have exchanged the craft for a standard Guardian model as I was advised and also equipped it following the advice of my collegues.

After another long day I found myself at battleship Yukon in California with admiral Rachel Baker. We had just successfully fended off an outcast battleship and a zoner dreadnaught that was helping it when another Navy ship appeared by the name of [LN]-Gold-4.

At first I did not suspect anything but admiral Baker appeared to become suspicious of it and asked it to identify itself. The ship did not comply and asked why it should do so. The conversation continued and the navy ship remained generally uncooperative as admiral Baker prompted it to power down and surrender.

However it also did not just cruise away or flee. It remained nearby and conversed with admiral Baker who continued to convince the pilot to surrender himself. To me it seemed as if both knew each other, somehow, although [LN]-Gold-4 stated at one point that his authority was one "Lord Commander Reynard Joyeuse of the Hellfire Legion".

At one point, the ship opened fire on me and fired their onboard weapons (a mix of strange weapons) and a minirazor at my ship. At first the craft only shot at my shield but it also fired on me once the shield was gone.

After announcing that I was under attack admiral Baker told me to defend myself. Since I was in a bomber however and the navy craft a Guardian with unusual weapons I felt I had little chance, since the pilot appeared to be superb. He also did not seem to aim for the bomber reactor and instead aimed for the ship's non-vital hull.

Fortunately, thanks to the armor plating of the type VIII his assault only inflicted damage on the armor leaving the bomber mostly undamaged. The onboard nanobots quickly repaired the dent in the ship's armor.

[LN]-Gold-4 ceased his attack on me and continued conversing with admiral Baker, who still prompted the pilot to surrender peacefully. Over the course of time I saw several transports pass us by with supplies for a constructed base, so I asked admiral Baker for permission to trail these transports. In the mean while she would land on battleship Yukon, because admiral Baker was piloting a Havoc mkII bomber and also was unable to detain [LN]-Gold-4, who remained in space.

Admiral baker tasked me to report if we found out anything about those transports. However all we learned is that their operation appears to be in the Inverness system which is outside of our juristiction.

As a final note, I heard [LN]-Gold-4 mentioning something in the frequency that might allude to plans of his to steal a second Guardian suggesting he has stolen one already.

Firstly, my congratulations to Ensign Rivers. Your service in the Navy has been commendable, and the promotion is well deserved.

On a more routine note, the former 7th Battle Group carrier Black.Scorpion made an appearance in Manhattan orbit. The Captain stated his intentions to 'cleanse' members of the Navy and Police Force, and was preparing to open up an LSF transport. Bomber units in the vicinity moved to engage the carrier before Captain Polstari arrived aboard the [LN]-LNS-China.Lake. With his assistance, the ship was destroyed before it had the opportunity to jump. I doubt the destruction made an outstanding impression on the Council transport passing through, but it's one more trouble out of our hair.

Shortly after the carrier went down, a Rheinland battleship entered Manhattan orbit. The Captain was unresponsive to demands for his surrender, and the warship was destroyed.
