This is Lt. Commander Jeremiah Sawyer of the Liberty Navy First Fleet

Good day, I am aware that my reports have been lacking as of late, that's due to the constant incursions inside Liberty where I am needed.

First of all, I'd like to report that the transfer of the LNS-Monitor to the First Fleet has been successful, and ID misunderstandings should no longer be the case.
For reference, ID name of the vessel is now: [LN]-LNS-Monitor.

Now onto an actual field report. Several days ago, hostile forces were at large in Texas, Rogues, Xenos, and even Lane Hackers.
We were quickly dispatched to the scene, where the 5th Fleet, and the =LSF= were already engaged by hostiles forces, including Birdie, the now notorious Rogue gunboat.
I've decided to take the pressure off the fighter pilots, and moved in to engage Birdie, and managed to ultimately disable the Rogue vessel.
Afterwards, all hostiles were taken care of, please refer to the visual footage for additional information.

Visual footage. [-x-]

Respectfully,
Sawyer

COMM ID:Ensign James Davis

SUBJECT:Field Report
ENCRYPTION: Medium
PRIORITY: Low

Greetings, this is Ensign James Davis of the Liberty Navy First Fleet.

This report includes my patrol starting from Norfolk and around New York system.
It started from Norflok and it led me to Manhattan. There I encountered several freelancers, that were in order, and that weren't distrubing the safety of New York space.
However, a pilot, freelancer as well, called Nexi, started indicating that he was engaging a target, which was quite unexpected as there were no target around, except for me and the other citizens around.
I did not want to charge him for anything, as he was only having fun in space, and did not represent a significant threat to me nor the other ships.
I continued my patrol, which led me to Fort Bush. I met there a Hogosha, carrying military salvage. I stopped him, and told him to cut his thrusters. He complied, and respected every single order.
He understood his mistake, and took note of the Law of Liberty Section 1 - I, and I wished he would just be back with legal goods this time.
I let him go with a single warning, first and last one.
During this inspection, my little friend Nexi came to annoy me again. This time I didn't let go.
I called him out, and was just being disrespectful to me. He is now guilty of impersonating an officer and obstructing the course of justice.
I wanted just to fine him, but as I was afraid to overstep my privileges, I didn't. He kept disrepescting me.
I legitimately repeated that if he kept going like this, I would engage him, and he did. So I engaged.
Unfortunately, he was able to escape.
The communication logs are going to be implemented in my report.

This little cat and mouse play led me back to Manhattan, where I was met by Renegade and Charles Edwards, two Wingmen. We encountered a Kempeitai ship at West Point Academy.
Again, afraid to overstep my boundaries, I intended to take him to the border in Kepler, but the Kusarian took off to Colorado. I truely understand my mistake here, but didn't wanted to stay on that note.
I started a pursuit to catch him, helped by Renegade, Charles Edwards, and under the supervision of LNS-Loyalist.
After some time, I finally catched him around Planet Manhattan, and engaged the fight to prevent his escape, even if no backup was there yet.
LNS-Loyalist showed up, and the Kusarian took off to Fort Bush. Or so he thought. The lane was killed by one of the Wingmen, and Loyalist took the ship's shield batteries down.
In order to provide a certain fair fight, the Loyalist and the other ships stood down, leaving me to put down the Kusarian, which I did.

My patrol then kept going, and Lt. Bannon and I received an emergency transmission from a LSF agent in Hamburg.
The man told us that he was under attack from a group of Unionists around Hudson Jump Gate.
As Lt. Bannon and I couldn't risk a diplomatic issue with Rheinland, we took upon ourselves to at least get to Hudson, and tresspass the Rheinland space, as we gathered around Hamburg Jump Gate.
We Navy couldn't assist the LSF agent, but the Freelancers accompanying us went to help him and lure them into Hudson. Which they managed to do.
There, three ships came in: a Rheinland freighter, a repair ship, and a Light Fighter.
I engaged the Light Fighter with the freelancer, leaving the freighter to Lt. Bannon and the LSF agent, the repair ship having unfortunately escaped to Hamburg.
The fight was hard, and as minutes passed, one of my allies went down, his ship's hull severly damaged.
I finally took down the Unioner's shield battery when a malfunction occured in my mine loadout. It blew up, opening up the hull and leaving me incapable of pursuing the combat...
Due to my inability to keep my ship up and running, the communications have been damaged. I was able to recover some of them, included in this report.

I'm currently awaiting damage report on my Guardian, and as soon as I get it, will be out in Liberty space again, awaiting for my new assignment.

Davis, out.

COMM ID: Ensign James Davis

SUBJECT: Field Report

This is Ensign James Davis, reporting the actions that occured on the 3rd of April, 827 A.S., at 2130.

My shift started at 2125, and as soon as I docked out of Planet Manhattan, where I had docked my Havoc Mk II, Lt. Commander Sawyer called me on the emergency frequence.
Apparently a group of Separatists had entered New York system from the Texas Jump Gate, and I ought to join him to Norfolk for battle.
There we met with LXC-Powell and Marcus Carter, and other pilots I can't recall the name of, unfortunately.

We engaged the hostiles, against two gunboats, one very heavy fighter and a capital ship.
As we were on bombers, Lt. Commander Sawyer and myself focused the capital ship, but the two gunboats didn't want to give some slack to the LXC-Powell, so in order to protect what I think was our main asset to be victorious, we moved onto the gunboats. That seemed to be the best thing to do, as the Powell managed to hit the Harmony hard enough to take it down.
Then we moved on the next target: the gunboats. I personnally targeted the Defiant class gunboat, as the Lt. Commander Sawyer was already on the Archer class one, but was targeted by the Defiant.
It turned out well, as I, assisted by my brothers, got to take it down.
Lt. Commander Sawyer had to restock, so went back to Norfolk, and as his ship was getting prepared, he came back on the Monitor.
During this time we were still pursuing the Archer gunboat, who led us to the Badlands, probably in an attempt to take us all by surprise and fly away, but that was a big mistake.
We took him down as well.

When the fight was over, another call on the Emergency frequence reported Outcasts near Norfolk Shipyard/Texas Jump Gate trade lane.
Having used all my torpedoes in the fight, I had to restock aswell before going in again. However, there I met with a late Outcast. Unfortunately, my ship was already damaged from the fights, and not suitable against a fighter.
I tried to buy myself some time by counting on Battleship Missouri to protect me, but my ship was too damaged to get away from this by myself.
The hull of my ship breached, and I found myself into space. Right before my ship came in collision to me, a ship from the Missouri took me in and droped me in the Battleship, to await the end of the fight, and report this as soon as possible.

Again, I find myself awaiting for my ship, which will see much more battles and much more breaches, as I am determined to do what I do best: serve the Navy.

Davis, out.

VADM Redding reporting in,

A squadron composed of myself, Lt. Sawyer, Davis and a few other [LN], 5th| and LPI- pilots formed at Manhattan primarily to patrol the premises. The Orbital Spa and Cruise ship Breezewood was able to give us some insight on the conflict at Rheinland. We did of course advise them to cease their activities in Rheinland given the civil war but its up to them whether they want to follow that advise or not. Either way, they gave us some fairly helpful intel. Apparently the Federalists are relying more on insurgency styled tactics due to their lack of capital ships so the Imperialists clearly have the upper hand. I'll have someone on administrative assistance relay this intel over to the LSF and ESRD in case its more useful to them.

Afterwards, since there was a reporter around, we held a short flyby for all the spectators at Trenton, Newark and the ships passing by. I had the squadron load up on countermeasures and we deployed them while flying in formation around the Manhattan docking ring to give everybody a good show.

- - - - - INCOMING SECONDARY FLEET TRANSMISSION - - - - -

COMM ID: Captain Edmund Mallory
TARGET ID: Liberty Navy Report Center
SUBJECT: Nomad Vagrant presence in the New York system
ENCRYPTION: HIGH
PRIORITY: HIGH

This is Captain Edmund Mallory of the naval training ship LNS Sierra Nevada.

At 1535 hours, we received a transmission from Captain Sawyer of the primary fleet gunboat LNS Monitor, warning us of a Nomad presence in the New York system. The Sierra Nevada immediately moved towards Fort Bush and Baltimore Shipyard to ensure the safety of the heavy civilian traffic moving through that trade lane junction.

Shortly thereafter, at 1544 hours, an unknown signature (Aun'el) appeared on the Sierra's scanners. Upon closer inspection, it indeed turned out to be a Nomad vessel, roughly of gunboat-equivalence. For the majority of the encounter, the Nomad remained outside of detailed scanning range. I immediately had a system wide warning issued for civilian ships to stay clear of the Fort Bush junction, however a zoner - apparently some kind of news reporter - ignored the order and joined us shortly. Several more civilian transports passed through the junction unperturbed as well.

The Nomad attempted to communicate with us, so I tried my best to figure out what it wanted. However, instead of giving an intelligible answer, it moved closer to the Sierra, Fort Bush, and Baltimore Shipyard. Not wanting to risk any endangerment of the civilians present or the stations, I warned the Nomad to halt at once or be fired upon, issuing the order to fire a warning shot across its bow. Instead of complying, the alien instead opened a hyperspace breach and promptly disappeared.

Upon request, the zoner reporter agreed not to publish her recordings of the incident in an effort not to spread potential misinformation or cause unnecessary fear.

Sadly, the lack of experience of my crew led to no detailed scans of the vessel being made as it moved closer. The communications log will be attached below.

Captain Edmund Mallory, LNS Sierra Nevada, Secondary Fleet
