After a Legatus of the Classis Aetheria came to me with a report from his son, I could not help but express interest in your people. From what I have heard, you have simply been defending your homes with fervor and conviction, and with limited resources, have thus far been able to repel a far greater force.
I like that. Here in the Imperium, we respect valor and fighting prowess, so to become acquainted with a people such as yours may prove to bear fruit for both of us in the future. Therefore, I propose these terms to you as a basis for future relations.

According to our source, these terms should be agreeable enough to you all. If not, simply send a transmission on this frequency with your proposal. Of course, hopefully it will not be needed.

I must say it is a strange tale that your "legatus" told me. Bein' lost in ta void beyond Sirius, only now t' return. Must be a shock t' see everyone much more advanced an' civilized. Didn't think us barbarians were capable of such, were ya lad?
Regardless, your man showed skill aboard such a cheaply made snubcraft. Skills I wouldn't mind seein' again against our enemies. We'll see what ta future brings though.
As t' your proposal, I would have t' make some edits. I have attached ta modified proposal below:

-Safe harbor granted should you come under attack from Corsairs or Bretonian military/police vessels ONLY. Any other hostilities you face will not be tolerated near Arranmore. Free roam is granted with the exception of 15k from the Londonderry jumphole.

-Agreed, but you will not be granted full disclosure over all our technology. What we deem worth trade in comparison to your weapons and technology will be brought forward.
