FL Cursor, FL non fullscreen - Ximen_Benitez - 07-26-2008

So, I'm having slight mouse lag again and its buggin teh crap outta me. I can't aim worth beans.

So, I'm wondering if maybe the FL cursor is making it respond slower because it's not a .. a.. normal cursor? Is there a way to remove the FL cursor so I just have a normal Windows cursor?

Or....

nothing lags when its not fullscreen, so is there a way to make my game 1024 x 760 (i think) while not going full screen? So the game is windowed?

That would rock if anybody could help me!

Thanks!

Yeah, when you're in Windowed mode, just go to settings and change the window size to whatever you need it to be.

Enable windowed mode by adding ' -w' (without the ' s) to the Target line of the shortcut (right click the icon and click properties). Make sure that you add it after the quotation marks.

Ok, I got windowed mode to work, I like it too. Its just... when my mouse is not on the FL screen its fine, but as soon as I move it onto the FL screen, it lags... grrr..

Any ideas?

Try... either raising game priority (from task manager) or lowering it. I had a simlar problem once, with keyboard controls (on another game), that got fixed by raising the game process priority.

Go to the settings and adjust the mouse sensitivity.

Tried both, I changed the process to almost every priority available.

I also tried mouse sensitivity and it just made the mouse move faster or slower after the lag..

Still doesn't work:( any more ideas?

I have a wireless mouse, could that mean something? It still lags too when I use my touchpad

Thanks...
