Gunship Dilemma - ssc - 11-25-2013
I've been wanting to get a gunship cause I had one before, however I'm a bit torn between getting a Zoner Conference ship, but now that there's 2 other gunships, I was wondering if they're batter than the Conference and which is the better choice is in a combat situation. Since theres no wiki for the Condor and the Z-series Gunships, I need some opinions on a comparison of the Zoner, New Civilian, and Border World's Gunships.

The conference is survivable enough. Unless you intend to engage people intentionally, you're not going to run into much resistance anyways.
A Pelican is a pretty good Gunboat too.

Don't forget about the Ahoudori. It's probably far better than all 3 simply because of its much larger and faster-regenning powercore. All 3 of those ships share the same light core so there's probably not much practical difference between them.

Agreed, Ahoudori is a beast. Get 1 BR and rest Solaris, and you're golden

The Ahoudori is the strongest ship a Freelancer can get, but its also a big target and has the slowest turn speed of any gunboat, but I think eventually I may get one myself. It looks pretty cool too (Well I think so anyway)
Edit: Do to its size I think it should have a bigger cargo bay (480 instead of 430) but whatever, its cool.
