Select the system you want to mine in in the drop down list at the top left.
Bottom right, another drop down list, select one of them, the mining spot is now highlighted on the map (might need to select a few to be sure you've got the right one).
Fly to spot in game, enable "show mining locations" or whatever in the navmap, fly around until you see yellow circles, set waypoint for middle, fly there... shoot.
