- This is an Guild-wide announcement -

In light of recent events which I personally am not too happy about, new security protocols will be introduced to existing ship designs.

I am sure many of you are all too familiar with the recent fiasco where the Hessians took off with three of our IMGT-8C class "Shishapangma" transports. Now, we have another problem where a convoy of three IMGM-2C class "Annapurna" vessels have also gone missing.

These events have prompted the Department of Production to take precautionary measures against thefts since the Paramilitary Division have proved to be inadequate thus far in this regard.

All newly produced IMG vessels that fall under "heavy" classification will come with additional safeguards against theft. These vessels are namely the IMGT-8C class battle transports and IMGC-104D class battle cruisers.

The safeguards are as follows:
  • All classification "heavy" type vessels will now be equipped with built in tracking systems. Removal of system will result in self-destruction protocol.
  • Anti-boarding protection on board these vessels will also be improved. Reinforced doors, on board sentry guns and security air-locks are now staple.
  • Security airlocks, upon failure to provide identification, will result in instant de pressurization of said airlock.
  • Self-destruct override protocols are now in place. Denial of protocol requires B level clearance from a third party IMG broadcast.

All IMG ships manufactured after this date are required to return for mandatory re-equipping and update to current anti-theft protocol. Aland Shipyard will service the Omegas and my Singapore Shipyard will service the Taus. Failure to do so will not be tolerated. We keep records.

Signed,
Shinichiro Kawashima, Head of Production
