To: Rheinland Junkers Sender: Sarah McFarlen Origin: Frankfurt Relay #4 Parts request. Hey. I recently got the news that you guys have set up shop in what's left of Augsburg. Not to belittle the incident there at all, but as it happens, that's actually pretty convenient for me. You see, I'm in need of some slightly obscure parts and I was hoping you might be able to help me source them. The part in question would ideally be a new (well, I'm willing to settle for new-ish) catalysing chamber for a DSE-MT transport reactor, preferably the 810 series. I can probably making anything up to an 814 work, but any model later then that and I'll need you to net me a replacement reactor and systems as well, which I'm sure you don't want to bother with. Besides, the more recent models gunk up if you try and mix parts which I'm pretty sure is going to happen at some point. Still, if it's all you've got, I'll just have to make do. Obviously, I'd prefer to pay in credit chits, in-person would be ideal. I'll swing by to pick the part up, so no need to worry about delivery (though if you can spare a few people to help load it, that'd be handy). Probably around Augsburg, if you've got anyone about. I can travel a bit though, if that's easier. So, that's pretty much the story. Let me know what you can do. End Message (//Indies are welcome to respond to this message as well.)
RE: To: Rheinland Junkers - Sarah McFarlen - 12-01-2013 Retransmitting.
Alignment error detected. Resolving. ... Done. RE: To: Rheinland Junkers - CadaverCII - 12-01-2013 Greetings, Ms.McFarlen. I am Robert Lang of the Junkers Congress. I have received your message, and am interested in doing business. Your requested part: 1: 810 Series, catalysing chamber for a DSE-MT transport reactor. I have managed to locate both a new, and slightly used variant of the part (Naturally the new part will cost more). In addition my operations are based in that section of space, but the part must be shipped from an external source. I would very much wish to work out the details, either in-person or via private channels. I am looking forward to your reply, Lang RE: To: Rheinland Junkers - Sarah McFarlen - 12-03-2013 Message Recieved
To: Robert Lang Sender: Sarah McFarlen Origin: Frankfurt Relay #7a Re: Parts request. Awesome, glad to hear it Robert. I was starting to worry that I wouldn't be able to get hold of the thing. Trust the Junkers to find a way, huh? Anyway, that sounds good. Considering you've gone and found two, I'd feel rude if I made you haul both of them away again. So, assuming we're not talking more chits then I can fit in my pockets, I'm happy to take both of them off your hands. Never hurts to have a spare lying around. Unless they explode of course, but I'm sure that's not going to happen, right? Great, because I really can't be coming back to you for hull panels to patch holes in the side of my station. I'm pretty much able to pick it up whenever suits you. This channel'll be secure enough if there's anything else you need by way of details. Oh, and thanks for the help. I'm looking forward to getting that old bird flying again. End Message RE: To: Rheinland Junkers - CadaverCII - 12-03-2013 Ms.McFarlen, It is a pleasure hearing back from you. Your parts have come in, and are currently on Kreuzberg Depot. I can have them immediately shipped to any local base free of charge or alternatively you may proceed to Kreuzberg. Payment will be received before the part is handed over naturally, and my people will gladly install it for you at a discount price. If there are any issues please let me know, I demand the up-most professionalism from my people. If you ever have need for Junker services within Rheinland space, or know of someone who would benefit from them; please keep my name in mind. May you be prosperous in your endeavors, Lang RE: To: Rheinland Junkers - Sarah McFarlen - 12-04-2013 Message Recieved
To: Robert Lang Sender: Sarah McFarlen Origin: Frankfurt Relay #7a Re: Parts request. Hey Robert, Kreuzberg sounds good. I'll swing by to pick them up sometime over the next couple of days. Payment's already been patched through, of course. I took a bit of a punt as to your account details, but here's hoping it went through okay. Oh, and don't worry about the whole 'Ms McFarlen' thing. Makes me sound like my mother. Just call me Sarah, or Sparks if you prefer - seems to be what everyone around here's calling me these days. Either's fine. Actually, now that you mention it, there is something else you could help me out with. I was planning to look into it later; but, hey, you seem to know what you're doing. I'm after ten or so Mosquito-type disruptor launchers and around a hundred casings for their missiles. Propellant'd be handy, if you've got it, but I don't actually need the warheads themselves. If you can source a similar number of intra-system transmitters, that'd be wonderful. I guess I can grab them from the 'burg as well. Thanks again. End Message RE: To: Rheinland Junkers - CadaverCII - 12-05-2013 Greetings Sparks, Your payments have been received (For future business feel free to contact me aboard the .:j:.Sinful.Smile; my flag ship). Call me Rob, our business has been successful, and I think formalities can be dispensed with. As per your new request of: Ten Mosquito-type disruptor launchers One-Hundred casings for their missiles One-Hundred intra-system transmitters I am currently working to secure the hardware requested. The Ten Disruptors were easy enough to get my hands on, as were the Casings, but the volume of Intra-System Transmitters is making them hard to acquire. None the less I have found sources, and am shipping in as many as possible as we speak. It has been a pleasure to do business once again, and I thank you for your patronage. To: Robert Lang Sender: Sarah McFarlen Origin: Frankfurt Relay #7a Re: Parts request. Robert, Sparks here again. Just swung by to pick up the reactors. No issues on my end, so thank you for that. Sorry to keep you waiting so long, I had some issues with the original ship I was going to use to pick it up, and then the back-up needed to be returned, and... Well, yeah. Sorry to keep you waiting. Anyway, that all looks to be there and I'll be installing it over the next few days. Once that's up and running, I'll see about sending a transport around for those other bits and pieces, if they're ready to go. Thanks, and Merry Christmas! End Message |
