Backstory:

The Phoenix 001 is an experimental design of the Phoenix class battleships. Designed and built by Leam Smith of the 41st Task Force as a spearhead of a new line of Battleship Technology. Four varients were produced. The 001, Based on an Osiris with advanced technology such as a Cloaking device. Which they previously abandoned due to the danger when in use. Though due to the Antimatter fuel source which was controlled in a stable manner. It was relatively safe to use. The AI which was fitted could very much be the most advanced AI in use in a Capital ship. However during it's time in Liberty, the vessel was disabled due to its AI becoming self aware and firing on the 003. Though in recent years the AI was repaired, replaced and improved. The vessel was then hidden in Omicron Solar until recently the Vessel was reawakened and restarted the Phoenix Programme. To date this is the only surviving Phoenix Battleship and roams Sirius protecting Zoners and Colonials from the Nomad threat with Amy Cromwell whom lives aboard the ship and directs its operation. The vessel is rarely seen outside of combat. However rumours have it to be assisting the Colonials due to the Nomadic Attacks in both Coronado and attacks on Colonial Vessels. The ship has been seen acting as a guard in diplomatic meetings with the Order and 27th Fleet Officials.

The Phoenix Sisters

The "Phoenix 001" was declared a failure after the vessel was declared rogue. Therefore a variant based on the Liberty Assault Battlecruiser took its place and proved very effective as a light scout and attack vessel This became the "Phoenix 002" Variant. The "Phoenix 003" was a heaviest variant of a Liberty Dreadnought. This vessel Contained full antimatter weaponry, reinforced hull and a cloaking array. Though due to the abrupt shortage in funding. Only one was produced, named Phoenix.The Phoenix was destroyed in Omicron Lost during a Nomad Attack. The "Phoenix 004" was a heavy support carrier. Using advanced armour plating. Cloaking technology and Six hangar bays.
This vessel still exists however is never used due to it's high maintenance requirements. And currently remains in Omicron Solar
Recently. Amy discovered a hulk of a Gallic battleship floating in a remote Tau system. The hulk was dragged to a shipyard and pressurized. It was discovered this vessel had better offensive capabilities than the 001. It was decided to disregard the volatile Osiris technology, along with it's antimatter turbine systems and nomadic core. Instead a new set of Antimatter Turbines using a different type of reactor and fuel as a control unit. The Dreadnought has been created as the lighter stealth varient as planned. It currently is fitted with cloaking technology and become notorious. Recent funding from an unknown source has also been able to create the 002. Based on a Battlecruiser it's fast and high offensive capabilities deem it a replacement to the volatile 001 class.

Recently the ANC sisters, all of them Phoenix based capital ships. Two of them contain the AI. Phoenix itself, the 003 class and Aurora the 002 class. They are both carbon copies, though they have been modified to suit the particular ship. Aurora and Artemis are both sister 002 class. Both capable of intense maneuvers though not designed for heavy combat. They currently operate in Liberty space assisting the war effort. Aurora currently captained by Jack Harrison, a family friend to Amy and her father for years, Amy's personal friend Zoe Avant currently captains the Dreadnought Phoenix. Amy has decided to remove her presence from these vessels. She currently does have influence with Retribution. The 004, the heaviest variant ever created though the vessel is rarely seen. It has been thought the ship sticks to clouds to mask it's approach, it being the heavy artillery against the Gallic invasion.

Backstory:

Amy was born on the Phoenix 003 Dreadnought In Liberty. However her mother died when she was at a young age of six. Amy never really knew her mother though she was closely connected to her father and gained the nickname "Ames".When her father died, she was deeply distressed and seemed to be in a never ending streak of depression. Amy was always a popular target in Liberty for terrorists as Leam himself was a Navy Admiral of the 41st Task force, however in later years, she joined the Solar Runners and the renegade battleship known as the 003. However was destroyed during a Nomad attack in the Omicrons. The vessel and its Captain both enemy to Liberty were forced to flee.

Amy in recent years has developed her combat skills on the ground and as a captain of a battleship. Despite the loss of her father, her goal remains to protect all Zoners and certain key people in the Solar Runners from the Nomadic onslaught at all costs. Recently, due to the Solar Runners. She met a man named Tobias Cromwell. Whom after several operations together eventually married, despite multiple setbacks they became a couple and once again restored Amy to her happy normal self which everyone thought she had lost and walked away from the dark hole of emotion she was once lost in. Tobias and Amy are the only known people whom the Phoenix responds to. The vessel itself has orders from it's creator to protect both Amy and Tobias from anything at any cost. The AI will not falter, nor will fail in maintaining this.

In recent times, a recently discovered prototype of the 001, christened "Aurora" was discovered. Due to the disrepair of the Phoenix, the AI has taken over the Aurora and now is the acting AI. Status updates will follow, times are uncertain.

Recently. Her father has returned and with all surprise, rescued Amy and Tobias from execution, and with the support of his Battleship. Will continue the fight towards peace, uncaring of what happens to himself. Though there is doubt he will be around for long, his despair at the loss of his wife becomes more of a burden every day. Amy knows this, though keeps it to herself.

Personal Log of Amy Cromwell

"Whatever can i say, Christmas is on it's way yet I'm not happy. Always something, something i don't understand. I watched people lose their lives to the hand of..i don't even know what. But there was nothing i could do. I simply watched, helplessly as my father was taken from me. That memory will never leave me now, i cannot forget, how i wish he was here...make it all go away.."

Amy shakes her head

"A few days ago i had Phoenix escort the 27th to Omicron 74. Some big meeting was going down, i don't know. Winston Baxter, the admiral of it seemed a solid guy. Admiral Golanski, until recently, I've never met him in person. Though he reminds me of my father, blunt, loud and happy about it. Just my take anyway, I've never really been a good judge of character. Comes back to "Monkey see monkey do" In my mind, perhaps I'm just weird? No. I am weird and I'm proud of it. "

She laughs at her comment, as if it's not being recorded

"Well for a while I'll be recording my adventures, mostly disasters at home. I'd rather not mention where said home is, tends to get me shot at these days. What is the deal with Nomads, Wild and Outcasts anyway? They just turn up, kill everything and leave. I've observed a few combats like that, though Phoenix tells me Cardamine is acting like a rubber band around those things. Cardamine..how i wish it never existed. Perhaps one day a mortar will obliterate it from Malta or Crete. Gah! Whichever one makes it. That'll do for now. Seems Tobias needs me..."

Amy sighs as the camera activates, her face was dull and looked as if she had not slept in days.

"Ames here, since my last entry everything has really gone beyond sanity. To start with the good news in which Tobias is delighted. A few weeks ago I brought our first born son into the world. Christened him Ethan.."

She seems to hang onto those words before composing herself to continue

"I've not slept in days, weeks even. I can't remember anymore, Tobias glances at me with worry but he knows. Our son was taken from us not a few days after he was born, and I don't think I can keep this up unless I find him soon. I've been searching, Phoenix has been across every lead and area of space to which he may have been. To no avail..I'm starting to lose hope..starting to lose my mind.."

She looks out the nearby window

"Phoenix I know is merely an AI. But to me she is much more than that, this battleship has not stopped searching. Been on the move for weeks now and still nothing. To me the Phoenix is a friend behind all her advanced technology and equipment which merely hides what she truly is. But as advanced as she may be, still has not found Ethan.."

She sniffles back a tear

"Lost my sister Laura to my own anger, my son has been taken. My closest friends are dead and those I trusted betrayed me. All I have left is my Battleship and Tobias..Everything else I cherished is gone, my very purpose taken away like it was never there at all...I'm lost in myself, never to be found again.."

Amy gets up, sighing with despair, tears running down her face before she walks away from the camera.

Amy appears on the screen, slight pixilation of the image is seen. Her facial expression seems somewhat happier than usual. The words "Aurora" in green lettering on the bottom left of the monitor are seen.

"Wow. All I have to say. Everything seems to be...fine? That the word?. Phoenix has found both those dear to me. I am beyond cheerful, though today the Phoenix AI is operating from a different shell. Codenamed the Aurora and I only know so much about it. But from what Phoenix tells me, it's got some powerful gear onboard. Phoenix is still processing the data and bringing systems online..
Words cannot describe what I feel towards that wonderful AI. It's not even an AI. It's a living thing to me now.."

She laughs, sitting back in the chair.

"Tobias think's I'm crazy. But she found him, and Ethan. Though I have another adventure to part-take in. Something I don't believe but i'll update more once I see it for myself. Rhiannon, my middle name is the key to what I've discovered. Perhaps to myself, who knows?"

She smiles at the screen, before static fills the monitor and the transmission ends.

Once again, her face is seen on the screen as it pixelates into life. Though she seemed cheerful and energetic. Behind her could be seen several new faces. Perhaps lost friends and family, or simply visitors.

"What can I say? my father has returned. I couldn't be happier!..We had a party the other night. It got pretty messed up but I guess it was fun. Tobias nearly died in shock after I revealed he's about to be a father again."

She seems to laugh

"Those little amusements drive me on. Though this mess of what we call home has just been stepped up to a whole new level of buggered. As they say. House has been demolished and we got a load of dark agents hunting us down. Father won't tell me who or what they are. Then again, after I saw what they did to some people in town, I don't want to know.."

Amy sighs heavilly

"I suppose any story can't always have a happy ending huh?" She turns to the chatter in the background, laughing along with them

"Well this place is about to get lively, gotta go!"

As Amy gets up and walks away, the camera statics out
