To: ALG Waste Disposal | EFL Oil & Machinery - Squad - 12-06-2013 Messieurs, While I admittedly reach out to you in ignorance of our company's prior dealings with ALG, let me introduce myself as the representative for EFL Oil & Machinery. While ALG makes a reputation for itself handling hazardous, often dangerous materials, this does of course assume a particular knack for processing those materials as well, oui? EFL is currently performing limited, small-scale research on using Niobium-based raw materials in ship components. Currently, our operations are heavily dependent on Beryllium, which over the years we have grown accustomed to refining along with the Gallic Metal Service. However, our findings thus far have indicated that Niobium or Niobium-hybrid components would need less in the way of raw materials and could outperform Beryllium-based components by 20% - 30%, particularly when it comes to heat resistance and brittleness. However, this shift in raw materials would come with a similar shift in refining and processing abilities, which at current we are unequipped to do. If this type of refining is something that ALG would have the capability and interest to do in small-scale as we continue our research, I would enjoy the opportunity to tour your facilities and see your processing operations for myself. Overall, should this project grow to make up a substantial part of our component manufacturing process, I see potential for longer-term, higher-volume arrangements. J. RE: To: ALG Waste Disposal | EFL Oil & Machinery - ALG Classic - 12-16-2013 Mr Tavernier; First off, please allow me to apologize for the delayed reply. It seems this transmission got buried before it could be forwarded accordingly. We're pleased that our experience in processing metals has not gone unnoticed on the market place. We do indeed possess the know-how and facilities to process Niobium - due to its relative abundance in various alloys our smelters receive as scrap, and our long running partnership with the IMG, which of course specializes in mining Niobium. Therefor, we would be happy to invite an EFL representative or delegation to our main smelter and space headquarters, Dortmund station in New Berlin. Our engineering team should be better qualified to answer technical questions than I am. Warm regards, Lena Atzenbruck, president RE: To: ALG Waste Disposal | EFL Oil & Machinery - Squad - 12-17-2013 Madame Atzenbruck, Truly a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I appreciate your consideration, and I believe a meeting would be quite in order. I have some longstanding business to attend to shortly, but I can make myself available at your convenience after three or four days. I certainly hope the delay does not offend, but I believe we have much to discuss, including our respective positions with the Independent Miners Guild. I have provided private contact protocols within this transmission, and I look forward to meeting you in person if you will grant EFL the honor of being in attendance. J. Tavernier |
