Banned after update - Drago - 12-15-2013
After update 5 i couldnt log in anymore ,deinstalled avg , installed avast (still no luck even with exceptions to Freelancer)
Shut down of avast did seem to help....but when i logged in ..''your account has been banned''
Guess to the countless tries by me with this update ,

Same problem here. But i am not banned i just get kicked after several seconds.

AVG is not retarded, think the problem isn't on it's end after all.
Making the clear install of Freelancer and then patching it up with clear discovery mod installation might be of a help.

Hi there. I'm the person behind the latest update's DSAce -- the file being flagged by AVG and Avira and a couple other antiviruses as a threat.
The problem is most definitely on AVG's end. DSAce is being flagged as a threat because of the method we use to pack it up to make it much more secure and less vulnerable to attacks. This same method has been used by a couple viruses in the past, and instead of just detecting the signatures of the viruses, AVG and Avira just delete anything with that packing method on it.
I have sent several false positive reports to AVG about this and I have yet to even receive so much as a "go away filthy programmer" from anybody at that company.
I highly recommend to anyone who currently uses AVG to use a different antivirus.
