Under the terms of a Bretonian charter, a cadre of Cambridge researchers and California consultants were given a challenge: Transform a planet from a cold, desert locale with a limited carbon dioxide atmosphere into an agricultural planet-within 400 years. Planetform was born. The company grew very slowly, dependent on the largess of the Bretonian Government for most of it's money.

Planetform had few enemies until 67 years ago, when the radical eco-terrorist group the Gaians formed within the research environments of Edinburgh's Gaia Planet and Cambridge University. The Groups amateurish efforts soon matured into a serious threat to Planetform operations throughout Bretonian space.

Planetform began manufacturing Xenobiotic Filters in 815 A.S., which are essential in creating stations. Due to the recent war with Kusari, and the current war with Gallia, Planetform has taken severe economical hits with the loss of Planet Harris and Planet Ayr, as well as Perth Station leaving Planetform much weaker than it used to be.

Current Goals:

Our main objective is to keep Planetform as the best choice when it comes to develop new habitable worlds, improve the conditions of those who are already inhabited and provide a wide range of service to improve planet's climates and weather.

Planetfomr Inc. isn't looking only for high quality projects but also improving our lives in planets, looking for new possibilities in other systems thus cooperating with several house to chart and analyse new planets and stellar bodies.

Future goals:

Additionally we are always looking to do our work more sustainable. Meanwhile we have been labelled as a pollutant company by a well known eco-terrorist party we are working every day to develop a more green future for or children. One of thess projects is to develop a full planet scale seaweed farm to grow what it will be the future bio-fuel that will bring our vessels beyond new worlds and stars.

Canterbury station
Sector 4D, New London system. Bretonia.

Canterbury Station houses the headquarters for Planetform, Inc., a pioneer in transforming uninhabitable or marginally habitable planets into terrestrial worlds. With the sparseness of arable planets outside of the core systems claimed by Liberty, Planetform, Inc. has been conducting a considerable amount of business in Bretonia and elsewhere. However, its operations have recently come under attack by Gaian eco-terrorists, and by necessity security guidelines have grown more stringent.

Planet California Minor
Sector 6E, California system. Liberty.

In 741 A.S., Planetform devised a method to channel the planet's enormous subterranean stores of geothermic energy, releasing greenhouse gases and introducing alien organisms into the atmosphere to speed up the terraforming process. Planetform estimates that the terraforming process will likely be completed and the planet will be open for colonization around the year 826 A.S. Despite the harsh planetary conditions, the increasing availability of jobs on the planet has attracted large numbers of manual laborers, particularly from the Colorado system, and California Minor's population is estimated to be just over 8 million at present.

Planet Harris
Sector 4B/4C, Tau-31 system. Borderworlds.

Previously a barren world, Harris was the object of one of the first large-scale terraforming efforts by Planetform, Inc. Initiated in 450 AS, the project was made easier by the abundance of pure Water and Oxygen ice in the system, while Terraforming Gases were easily transported by Bowex from the Stokes Mining Station in nearby Leeds. Harris was originally scheduled for colonization in 820 AS, but the project has recently suffered a series of setbacks due to attacks by Gaian terrorists.

Cold bay depot
Sector 5C, Hudson system. Borderworlds.

Cold Bay is a small Planetform base built near Planet Atka in 816 A.S., being the first hidden step in preparations for Atka terraforming ordered by the Liberty government. Rheinland discovered this base in 817 A.S. and demanded its immediate deconstrucion, since populating Atka would mean that Liberty would claim the whole Hudson system as a part of its own territory. Liberty has since occupied the system, and a small part of Hudson on the other side.

Methyr-Tydfill Mining Station
Sector 5C, Pool system. Bretonia.

Although Methyr-Tydfill was setup late in 816 A.S. to begin Beryllium extraction from the nearby planet Studland, the settling of the Torfaen Asteroid Field in the system gave the station a new role. Harvesting various Terraforming Gases locked in the icy asteroids proved less expensive to initiate, while offering a bigger profit margin, despite Gaian, Corsair and Molly raids against the miners and station. BMM sold the station to Planetform, and used the funds from that sale to establish a less expensive Beryllium mining operation in the Cambridge system instead.

Green hope project
Upcoming - Location not established

Green hope project pretends to be the last in innovation in vessels fuel engineering. A bio-fuel coming from small organisms and seaweed that once lyophilized become an alternative to the current fuel options. Currently the R+D department is looking to improve the bio-fuel performance meanwhile our pilots are scanning vast regions of multiple planets to find the best suitable place to develop such planet-scale seaweed farm.
