Weapons and Turrets - Zen_Mechanics - 12-19-2013

It doesnt look good, to be honest I was expecting that the update will introduce better turrets and equipment, but it turns out that people still use the same old 4x4 cerbs,primaries ; What ever happend to razors? why don't we buff them to make them actually significant again. Its frustrating to see the same thing over and over again, I'd like to encounter someone creative and not just a 1v1 dual pvp setup.

Tho cerbdessies soloing BSs gets old fast.

IMO, buffing everything makes fights shorter...whilst nerfing makes them longer.

I would personally like it if capship fighting was a bit longer.

Big ships die first, and die quickly if there is enough to break through the shield regen.

I wouldn't mind Shock Rays getting buffed a little in damage to be more useful against GBs. If you can't hit them with cerbs or primaries, a quick 2000 speed ray can be a nice little punch (and given how low the refire is it'd need to be a well-aimed shot). Some similar logic - perhaps, anyway - seems to have been used for GB Razors, if they're to be kept like that.

Also, this is a good thread to mention that cruiser and battleship missiles are particularly useless on anything except cloaked ships, given how long it takes for them to reach their target and that you're firing 20 or 30 missiles at something with at least 125 CMs.

Shock rays cant hit anything.turret turning very slow and cant damage moving targets.It is like battleship secondary turrets.

Cerb is the primary BS caliber.
Most efficient, decent range and speed.

I think, we should get back to the .85 philosophy, where so-called "primaries" were the REAL primaries, and the actual faction turrets stats could affect the PvP outcome.

Dont touch Cr cerberus! it's the only weapon left for cruiser use, that can do something... and even that at a low speed! (shame on you) or else you might as well remove all guns for cruiser on the game.. that would seem fit, very balanced folowing the trend.
