The starting code to find my charaters - djoser1970 - 12-23-2013
I am getting a new system and I'll have to reinstall FL Discovery, now I lost the main code that has to be typed in at the beginning to retrieve my characters it's like 16 digits long and it said not to loose it, well we had a flood and the flash drive that stored all the info for FL was ruined. How can I retrieve the code? It's not the server IP address to Discovery server but it was given to me from when everything was downloaded for Discovery. it went like this XXX-XXX-XXX-XXXX I hope you know what I'm talking about. Thanks

if you still have your old system up and running it will be stored in the registry.
Rather than messing about with the registry, I suggest you use:

Start the program up, then: Account > Export > To XML... (you could use ADF, it doesn't really matter unless you have comments stored for each account).
That's all you need I believe, I've transferred my accounts between computers this way for months without a hitch.
