Admin Notice: Change To Approved Special Operative IDs - aerelm - 12-28-2013 Up until now, Special Operative IDs were being granted through special roleplay requests or faction rights, either to override the ID terms and allowances, or to make the ship exempt from technerf. Thanks to the improvements done to the techcompat plugin with update 6, the latter can be handled using the server-side configs and does not require the ID anymore. After extensive discussion, we've decided to incorporate this as part of the SRP system for now, and this also applies to the IDs approved prior to this change.
In simple, the ability to exempt the character from techcompat system now exists independent of the Special Operative ID, so this new feature will be used from now on. The ships listed in the following post had received their Special Operative ID in the past for the sole purpose of gaining 100% powercore, and so, now have those IDs replaced with their original ID and instead have been added to the server-side techcompat exemption list - In other words, the approved SRPs remain valid and can continue the same as before without the need for the ID anymore. P.S: Technerf removal remains a valid option for SRP requests. Just wont need that ID anymore. The list in the second post is only, quote unquote, for ships that "received their Special Operative ID in the past for the sole purpose of gaining 100% powercore, and so, now have those IDs replaced with their original ID and instead have been added to the server-side techcompat exemption list". In other words, it is not a list of all approved Special Operative IDs as the thread topic may at first suggest, so unless the above applies to your flagship it shouldn't be listed in the second post at all. I'd suggest reading the first post again. ...Unless I've misinterpreted your post, of course. I'd presume that your flagship is some kind of ship that's normally not allowed by the GMG ID, though, so, again, it wouldn't/shouldn't be on that list. RE: Admin Notice: Change To Approved Special Operative IDs - ProwlerPC - 12-29-2013 Gotcha, yeah it wasn't so much the tech (as it's GMG weaponry) but the ship itself and class. I get it now. Kudos btw to whomever is working on the scripts to find solutions. RE: Admin Notice: Change To Approved Special Operative IDs - Ursus - 12-29-2013 How does one go about asking to get a ship added to the exception list? RE: Admin Notice: Change To Approved Special Operative IDs - Pavel - 12-29-2013 Mhmkay... So, if I wanted some ID change, e.g. additional system included in ZoI of faction ID, I go for SRP. If I just want full powercore, I still submit request with RP, 250 M fee and what not, but instead of SRP ID my character's name will be added to the exemption list. If I want ship without nerf, and with e.g. changed ID allowed behavior or increased ZoI, I go for SRP ID. Do I get that right? RE: Admin Notice: Change To Approved Special Operative IDs - Pavel - 12-30-2013 Okok. That also answers Ursus' question. |
