Hallo dear receiver,

This is the first time we try to establish contact with the Kingdom of Gallia, that is how it is called correctly, ja?

We have heard a few rumors about you from our Bretonian friends, the Gaians, however we never really were able to make ourselves a picture about Gallia just from those. Fortunately, just yesterday, a trading ship belonging to a corporation called Ile-de-France Shipping told us a lot about your country when he bought some of the finest blue jillies we could offer, he told us that the people in Gallia would love these flowers and so we got into a chat about the Kingdom. And thats why I am contacting you.

Is it true that you do not have any artificial sources of food? It is hard to believe this, because here in Rheinland, a Libertonian corporation called Synth Foods has swamped the market with its cheap, synthetical paste, robbing us farmers not only of our land, but also of our source of income.
The captain of the trading vessel told us that the people in Gallia have a good taste, that they would have great interest in high quality food and the aforementioned blue jillies. Is that true?

We would definitely like to make deals with people that appreciate the fruits of a farmers hard labour, what about you?

this is indeed the first official communiqué from The Landwirtrechtbewegung and probably helps explain recent sightings of LWB ships within what you will recognise as the Leeds system.

Normally your credentials would get a military based reply to schlinge Ihre haken, the LWB being perceived as a non-player in the Kings vision of the future. The LWB is not unknown to our services with information suggesting you have a limited set of resources and a number of your allies appear problematic to current Gallic foreign policy.

However trade is also high on Gallic priorities and it is that perspective together with the added possibility of damaging liberty food supplies that have earned this reply.

Gallia is not totally averse to entering into mutually beneficial agreements but in this case we would need to be convinced. In particular you current allies and their apparent anti-Gallic stance and you supply of Blue Jillies. They were used extensively to celebrate our recent victories in battle and it is true that the people now have a high demand for them, however currently Planet Stuttgart seems to be able to cope.

As it is likely these talks may be sensitive we are willing to dispatch a small delegation to meet in person.

I have to agree, that discussing this in a personal meeting might be the best way to do this.
I would invite you to one of our bases, but I am not sure about your posibilities regarding the movement within Rheinlands space, so if a meeting in Rheinland would create any problems for you, we could also search for an alternative location.

considering the potential diplomatic intricacies of the situation I think a personal meeting is eminently sensible.

I would also suggest it is, at this stage, carried out without great fanfare or celebration.
