Need a little help with grid references - robdollar - 01-02-2014

I've had some great help from fellow players, but I'm having big problems locating things, specifically jump holes, at grid references that I have been given.

I'm wondering if it's because I have edited a couple of files to make FL more widescreen friendly.

Could anyone tell me if the grids are off on my map here? I was trying to go from New Berlin to Braunschweig via the jumphole at E2, but I just can't find it. I'm wondering if my grid is completely off.

edit: ignore the waypoint, I was curious if the abc/123 grid is all messed up

That happens if you exit the NavMap while zoomed in. Simply close and re-open it and it should fix itself?

I had the same problem, while running FL back on my netbook with a 1024x600 resolution, plus widescreen.

it always seems to be off though. From what I can see online, the New Berlin to Hamburg gate should be C2, but in my map it's D/E 2/3. I was looking for a jump hole in E2, I covered 6 squares around it but couldn't find a thing.

I occasionally get this too, I'd recommend the same as Luke: zoom in and back out and/or close and reopen your map.

OK I've given that a go, multiple combination of zooming in / closing / opening, zooming in and out. It always comes back to the same as my screenshot.

Do you guys edit the cameras / fonts files to fit widescreen, or use a mod? I just assumed using a mod might conflict with Disco.
