To: Ryuho - Camille Gabriel - 01-03-2014 ![]() Good Evening Rhyho,
You know, of all the responses I received, it was yours that seemed most genuine. Further, you are quite correct in your assertion. Desperation is, unfortunately, a frame of mine that is becoming increasingly familiar to me as time drags on. Circumstances must; however, dictate caution in who I reveal my identity and situation to. From the records I have been able to access, violating that secrecy prematurely could cost me very dearly indeed. So, for now at least, I hope you can forgive me if I deal in generalities. As you may have gathered from this signal's origin, I am currently posted to the Taus on behalf of the Royal Navy. A... Superior of mine has displayed worrying behavior as of late, and I am concerned he may be subject to nomadic influence. Whether the erratic nature of her behavior is due to the recent encounters we have had with the creatures is beyond my ability to say. I find most things to do with those creatures are. I feel like I'm trapped in an underwater cavern and expected to fight a leviathan without so much as a torch. I don't even understand what it is I am supposed to be fighting, much less how to. I was hopeful your organisation could, if nothing else, lend me a torch. ![]() RE: To: Ryuho - Timmy - 01-03-2014 [[[[[Beginning Transmission]]]]] Comm ID: Ryuho
Location: *scrambled* "As of late I have had a bad experience talking to the Royal Navy. Though hearing such concern is something new." He clears his throat before switching to the topic. "You may believe me, may not. However I do mean it when I say everything concerning nomads is to be treated with extreme caution. Literately." A grim expression appears on his face. "As for your superior officer, I can not clarify how bad his condition is. Nomads have more then one way to get an influence over a human being. You will have to bring more light on the situation about said person, behaviour, habits and everything else. Either that, or reveal us the idenity of the person you are worried about, and we shall check the situation ourselfs. So far that is all I can say." [[[[[Transmission Ended]]]]]
RE: To: Ryuho - Camille Gabriel - 01-06-2014 ![]() Good evening again Rhyho,
I appreciate that our various groups may have their... Differences, but in the shadow of creatures such as these, they seem rather insignificant, non? If we are killing each other, I would rather it be of our prerogative. A small distinction, but an important one in the scale of things. And I think the fact that I am willing to speak with you indicates quite clearly how seriously I take this situation. The Royal Navy does not take transmissions such as this lightly, and I assure you, nor do I. First, I would advise you against sending a team. The situation is yet delicate, and, arrogant as it may sound, I am Iikely in a far better position to ferry information to you then a team of foreign commandos. I cannot give you a great deal in the way of trends, I'm afraid. The feeling is more just that, - a feeling, a general impression that something is wrong. Of some concern is the increased nomad presence in Crown space, but again, I have little more then heresay, rumor, and a handful of unidentified radar returns. Any useful data is classified at a level kilometres above my head. Perhaps, there is one piece of information I can provide that may tie in with some records of your own. My name is Camille Gabriel, and the individual I contacted you regarding is Grand Marechal Ansel Xavier of the Royal Navy. ![]() RE: To: Ryuho - Timmy - 01-08-2014 [[[[[Beginning Transmission]]]]] Comm ID: Ryuho
Location: *scrambled* "The issue takes more troubling turn, Gabriel-san. The higher person stand, the more influence he or she have, the more chanses that person will be target for nomads. Your feeling might not be false and at this rate you better take your steps carefully." Taking a pause to change his breath he continued. "As I mentioned, nomads use more then one way to control a person. But most sufficient for them is infecting one. They plant a seed into a host's body and with a short time as it grow the person stop being itself. The memories remain, however the body is completely under control of a nomad. The worst is that they do not stop at that, but keep trying to gain more and more influential people under their control." His look becomes straight and serious. "Unfortunately, there is no saving for a person who got infected except of death. Your words could mean many things, but there is a way to make everything clear. Those parasites organic and can be detected with a simple x-ray scanning. If your words are truth, you will have to find a way to achieve that." [[[[[Transmission Ended]]]]]
RE: To: Ryuho - Camille Gabriel - 01-11-2014 ![]() Ryuho,
This is indeed concerning. So, you mean to say that these creatures are capable of controlling human beings? I must be honest, it sounds like the plot of a bad science fiction vid. I'm not quite certain I understand. What are these seeds you're talking about? Are they airborne? Is there any way to vaccinate against them? How do they gain control? Obviously assisting the Marechal is my primary concern, but if I can protect the others around him while I do so, it would be far preferable. Is it likely that the infection could spread? Are these seeds capable of rapid reproduction, like some variety of alien fungi, or do I have a longer time scale to work with? I assume they are capable of some sort of communication with other aliens, but to what degree does that extend? Would losing one seed be noticeable to their society at large? Your assistance thus far is appreciated, Ryuho, but I wish to be certain of what it is I am dealing with here before I take any more drastic steps. If, as you say, a simple X-Ray is capable of detecting infestation, I imagine an infected individual would take precautions to avoid being exposed to one. Attempting to force the situation would no doubt draw attention to me, and by extension, you. While I have been careful to send these transmissions only from public machines, it would only be a matter of time before Naval Intelligence traced them back to me if I give them reason to look. Location: *scrambled* "This indeed sounds like some horror movie, Gabriel-san. I have not believed to it either, before I seen it." He sighs, wryly smilling. "Nomads are worm looking parasites that live inside a human being, feeding from it, controlling it. To put it in easiest terms, they damage human brain enough to become a brain themselfs. After that, no vaccine will help. Even if nomad will leave the host's body, that being will not be alive any more. And yes, loosing a single being will not come unnoticed, as their minds are united." With a straight serious look he continues. "You do not need to know details, just take the facts, if your concern is forwarded into protecting your house from the occupation it will not even notice." The look becomes more calmer. "Finally, aiding people around infected person is extremely dangerous. You do not know if those people are not yet infected themselfs, as well as won't they become suspecious to your attempts. You may attempt, as it is a noble move, however you should be avare of a danger. The best thing you can do right now is making sure that you are safe and gather information for us, Gabriel-san. This information is mostly appreciated." [[[[[Transmission Ended]]]]]
RE: To: Ryuho - Camille Gabriel - 01-21-2014 ![]() Ryuho,
Very well. I shall do what I can. The Marechal is out of contact at this point, so I may have time to consolidate affairs before he returns. What sort of information would be beneficial to your organisation in fighting these.... Things? If I am able to secure such information, how should I direct it to you? I cannot continue to trust this channel indefinitely. Is there anything beyond the obvious I should be aware of when watching these creatures? I trust that, ultimately, those they control are still human and possessed off all the physical weaknesses that entails? If so, there may be another option open to us, as much as I am loathe to discuss it. Merci, Camille Gabriel ![]() RE: To: Ryuho - Timmy - 01-23-2014 [[[[[Beginning Transmission]]]]] Comm ID: Ryuho
Location: *scrambled* "Watch for any odds, Gabriel-san. A strange voices in your head, even unusual thoughts. These creatures are masters of decieving. Of course, those they control mentaly can be saved, however those they managed to infect are not humans any longer, only a threat to others." He pauses for a second, thoughtfuly looking away from the camera. "There are still things that humans take too lightly, but which belong to nomads and have a great power of aiding them in chasing their purpose. Some should be known to you already, such as Cardamine. Thanks to this drug, the whole Maltese nation are nomad pupets." His look gets more straight. "This is a war, and to fight these creatures we need inteligence, ships, weapons and soldiers. However to preserve humanity from being controlled by them we have to track every infected person. Such kind of information will be useful for us. So as I said, watch for any odds, in yourself and in people surrounding you, and report about everything that even slightly reminds you about them." Making an easier look he stays silent for a couple of moments, considering something. "Finally, the most safe way for the information share would be meeting on some neutral, unwatched ground. And the most neutral space would be Tau 37. I guess we have to meet somewhere there soon, so that I can give you all data you may require. Further on, we will use that place for other meetings. I suppose that Freeport is locked for GRN pilots?" [[[[[Transmission Ended]]]]]
RE: To: Ryuho - Camille Gabriel - 01-27-2014 ![]() Ryuho,
My apologise for the delay since my last transmission. Recent assignments have made it difficult to access a secure means of communication. I must admit, your last transmission raised more questions then it answered. Is there truly so much the general population do not know about these creatures, if they are so great a threat? Regardless, my questions would no doubt be better addressed, as you suggested, in person. I may have to prepare a list for you. I would not concern yourself with issues such as access. I am quite certain I will be able to find my way aboard the Freeport without incident and, if I do not, I will make sure you are the first to know. I am lead to believe the Zoners have established some variety of garden aboard, I trust it will suffice as a meeting place?
